Is this, then, the final list?
1.  bbarsh
2.  Bracton
3.  burntwire brother #1
4.  burntwire brother #2
5.  dbartman
6.  Invincible Overlord
7.  lawrenson
8.  Prufrock
9.  Rabbit_67
10. silver
11. Strahd's Minion
12. stratochamp

I need to know if you want your boardname on it, the PC name, your real name or some combination thereof. For a personalized, signed copy, and looking at my expenses, I'm thinking $20 (USD, blackmoor) $23 each if you all want them ringbound. I will make up a DM Copy as well and auction it, but how? At the dinner or the Auction?

hi tim, i think (as an example) The Paladin Boone played by William C. Meinhardt III on 8/6/10 would look nice. as to what to do with a dm copy et al: i think we should all pay $30 for our copies and then the person who does the best job playing and roleplaying there character during the event (as determined by you) is given the dm copy as a boon (sorry, couldn't help myself!). that should keep everyone motivated to play well and make for a memorable experience for all.

I like the $30 part, a lot. I have been contacted already about extra copies for non-participants but I am not going to do that. It should be an exclusive.

Well, Bill, I think I see what PC you want. Actually, I could send the PCs in a zipped file to the participants and let you all decide who plays whom. You can use one of the two tried and true methods: rock-paper-scissors or long, sharp knives in a darkened room--your choice.

Is that OK with the players? I can send a file with all of the characters; I could start with Bill and he can choose Boone and forward the remaining 11. Probably would be more fair to send them all to everyone and let you, the players and out-layers of cash, settle it however you wish.

Let me know ASAP and I can have the files collated and zipped by tomorrow.

If you all decide to go along with Strat's suggestion, I will acquiesce; I can give some of that to my Fishing Has No Boundaries chapter.

I guess I'd better get back to working on this to make sure it is worth the geetus. Snakeriders of the Aradondo will be interesting, I'm pretty sure.

This sounds very good to me.  I will play any non-spell throwing character.  I like to be the tank.

Hi,

sounds fine.

Thief, or fighter-type, for me, if possible please.

Cheers,
Malc

I think I played a wizard last year.

So this year I'd like to play a Cleric, if available.

How about if we finalize the attendees; then I will send a zipped file with the character sheets and bios to whomever I have an e-mail address for, and they can in turn forward it to the rest of the players, then you work it out on your own?

There are 15 pre-gens of which you get to use 12.

or,

Any of the players that already has my address can send to me and I will give you a copy of the zipped file.

If Frank plays, he will be the brain mole....

Sorry to take this off-topic, but a Dragonsfoot post indicates that the Days Inn Downtown in Indianapolis has closed.  If you have reservations at the Days Inn Downtown, then you need to find another room.

Unless one of the 12 listed above cancels or gives up their seat, yes.

(The only other possible recourse would be to offer an obscene amount of money as a bribe, or something else of potential value, to me, the DM; in that case, I might be persuaded to add another PC or two to the party.)

$20-30 seems to be a fair amount to charge.

In regards to the pregen characters, I would suggest sending them out to the group, have the group respond within a week or less, with their top three choices in order of preference.

For duplicate requests for the same character, go with the order that the response was received and then bump to the second, then third choice.  If one of the players is unable to respond in the timeframe allotted, they would be assigned one of the remaining available characters.

In the unlikely event that this doesn't settle matters, the list could be posted here with any conflicts so we could work out the details as a group.

Titling for the pregens is fine, as Bill suggested: "Pregen Character Name" played by "PC Real Name".  Date wouldn't be necessary.

Auction off the DM copy at the auction... :)

IO & bracton have copies of the Zipfile (still a hefty 9.5M), and they have my permission to forward to any of the members of the party soon to become reptilian scat.

There are 15 pre-gens' character sheets listing all of their possessions.

Spell-users have a flat 75% chance to know any given spell appropriate to their level. Honor is all. One or more spell-users has/have unspecified scrolls; same 75% rule applies, but for this purpose only spell users have a 25% chance of it being of one level higher than customary for that PC's level.

There is one unspecified wand (or rod?) that the player can choose and see if I say OK.

The bios are thrown in because this is a prototype of a collection of NPCs to add into a campaign.

All this material is copyrighted but I know that this group will respect that.
