A Dragonsfoot post indicates that the Days Inn Downtown in Indianapolis has closed.  If you have reservations at the Days Inn Downtown, then you need to find another room.

Does anyone have news on any products being released at Gen Con?

Down to 23 days.  Is there nothing new coming out at Gen Con?    I had heard that Troll Lord Games wasn't going to have a booth, and I don't see Goodman Games on the current exhibitor list.  Looks like the dealer hall may be a little thin, though I have some hopes that the new entrepreneurs avenue (an area set aside for first time exhibitors, at a reduced price) may bring out some interesting material.  Maybe another Kalifax?   :o  :D

All right, I'm game (and unlikely to make a Gen Con before I'm retired 20-some years from now)... What is Kalifax?

Mars or stratochamp will know the details better than I.  Kalifax is a city state which a group of guys put together from their home game, published in a huge loose leaf volume, and brought to Gen Con back in 1994 to sell.  Bill and I happened to walk past their booth, saw it and picked it up.  I remember they called themselves "City Supplements, Ink"  -- with a "k", since they didn't have the time to actually incorporate.  Very cool, and as I don't think it ever sold anywhere else, very rare.

I think there may have been some sort of subsequent edition they sold too, but I don't have that.

Anyway, the point is that at one time, you could pick up wonderful, unique stuff at Gen Con.  I miss those days.

The current exhibitor list on the Gen Con site doesn't include TLG, so I had assumed the earlier info was still correct.  I'm glad to hear they can make it.  They'll be one of my first stops in the hall.

Goodman will be at Troll Con however. No word on whether there will be a neat-o release-o.

Hi,

any definite info on when the Gygax auction is on yet please?

The Ennies dream date auctions are for Friday evening, and I was considering bidding :)

Cheers,
