Happy Christmas and Merry Holidays, everyone :D

Gaming/related-wise, I got a few nice items this year:  

  • _Dominion_ from Rio Grande Games (a fun strategic card game)
  • _Panopticon_ for the _Eclipse Phase_ rpg
  • the new _Conan_ film
  • _Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me_
  • Transatlantic's _Whirlwind_ on CD
  • Umberto Eco's new book, _The Prague Cemetery_
  • Neil Gaiman's new edition of _American Gods_


The boys got a few new games for the Wii, as well as 4 new controllers since we've beaten the 4 original ones into submisssion, so I'm sure we'll be playing some games on the TV too =)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

I got Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and CoD MW3 for Christmas.

I'll probably not be posting in the next few months.... heh...

I got shirts.  Nice ones.

I also got a gift card for Half Price Books.  I was at Half Price Books in Tacoma yesterday for their big 20% off sale.  I couldn't find anything of interest.

I've spent the last couple of days playing the Wii version of GoldenEye 007 with the limited edition gold classic controller that comes with it.  Much easier to control everything that way.  They also replaced Pierce Brosnan with Daniel Craig which I think makes it an infinitely better game.  :D

I'm going to wait on that one.  As much as I would like to play it, the video card on my PC needs upgrading before I can.  And I've heard that it is full of major bugs (just like every Bethesda release).  Hopefully they will have patched it pretty good before I decide to buy it.

Late for Merry Christmas, but hope you had a great day with family and friends. My Christmas was filled with shirts and pants (and roast pig and fiery alcoholic beverages...). Got my wife something she already had...fun, fun. At least, I also got her clothes and some Godiva chocolates and made up for the blunder. The kids got wasted on PS3 stuff (and a skateboard for one and a bicycle for another).

On time for New Year's...may 2012 bring you better days, health, and joy!! At least until the Mayan Calendar expires.  :D

BTW, it's 83 degrees today in Puerto Rico.  :P

Happy collector-days.

May the new year find you finding rares and good deals... but not so good I get jealous.

Anyway, we did not celebrate gifts this year, but I ended up getting a 3DS and a Kindle Fire anyway, for my birthday. Best thing about the Kindle is all the cheap books...
