You have to remember, because it says Surface, it doesn't mean Surface. I sent an ebay item to Greece using the same Surface Mail method and it arrived a week after I sent it.

Only because it was sent via airmail in error. Have had the same to here (a surface M-bag arrived before a priority airmail packet, go figure), but best not to rely on that.

If PayPal ain't budging, the best you can do probably is rely on the honesty of the buyer to settle up if/when the items do arrive since there's no way they can claim back after the period has expired and there's no tracking to prove they will. Hardly ideal, regardless of the actual transaction size. Sorry I don't have a "better" suggestion than that...

Would certainly not recommend surface mail where available except when there's an element of trust or a clear waiver sent via eBay (and not sure that would stick, either, if it came to the crunch).

No -  all those 'no liability after I give it to the mailman' auction caveats are pretty much worthless I'm afraid. If you haven't got tracking to the level required by paypal/ebay then you have no defense, even if you dropped the item off personally. (But  in that case I guess you could pay a repeat visit )

Most of the blue was added yesterday and was a great addition...

Just got the back section to complete (4hours) and then highlighting, re-lining and finishing off (another 4!)

But its been well worth the wait and pain...

It looks very nice.  But you're going to be applying bottles and bottles of sunscreen for the rest of your life!   And God forbid you ever injure that side of your body or your back!  This is why your mother should have told you to just get a basic black scratch-job and spend the rest on RPG collectibles!
