I think I’ll just give his work away if I can, there’s such a huge world he’s created, it says a lot I think.

If they are computer files, Word documents, PDFs etc., I'm sure we can find a host who will put it up for download.
I'd be happy to use my server space here and post links in the thread.

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

It’s mostly hand written, but there are also 3.5” discs which I remember him saying had a lot of things on them, which he’d mostly printed off and are in the folders I’ve got. I think he’d used a green screen word processor in the 90’s 00’s but I wouldn’t know what it was.

If they're floppies they're still easy to read and I'm sure we could work out what the file format used was.

I’ve found it was a PCW8256 word processor and discs for that, if that helps? And the discs are actually 3”, I just assumed they were 3.5 from their size, rather than measuring them.

Ooh. Interesting challenge. Anyone with an old Amstrad?
There seems to be a forum dedicated to converting/preserving old 3” discs and re-imaging them so they can be read on PCs.
Anyone want to go down that rabbit hole?
The problem would seem to be getting ahold of a 3” floppy drive and connecting it to a PC.
The software appears to be open source and available online.

Printouts I could scan and convert to PDF if anyone’s interested in Dave’s campaign world.

My wife has a Brother model from the late 80's when she was in college... Curious if they would be compatible.

I’d be happy to send the discs to anyone who can read them. I don’t know what’s on them to be honest but he did say he did a lot of work on it. The rest is printed or hand written, which I can send to someone to pdf it if they wanted to then distribute free privately.

I will try and get it out and photograph it all so there is some perspective on amount.

Well, I'm in Scotland and I'd willing take a look and do the scanning, and I'll cover the postage.
There are other UK memebers who may be interested.

I'd be very interested but have utterly no way of accessing anything on any kind of computer media!
Please keep me in the loop
