The same person won 5 of the 6 auctions (only the Medical Pack, G-46, went to another buyer.) I wouldn't be surprised if it was the "Collectorfigs" guy who (poorly, from what I understand) recasts rare minis and sells them on eBay.
I was the person who told the seller that the "Lils in Ruins" pack (G-17) was incomplete, and the seller did post the information. And even then the pack still was bought out for $75! I hope the person knew what they were buying.
Man, it must be nice to be able to spend nearly $500 on minis.
MetamorphosisSigma wrote:I'm curious why you call it the "Lils in Ruins" pack. The contents clearly are not "Tribesmen Mutants #3" like it says on the back of the cards (it's a slag mailbox, slag mini tank, and a obliterated suit of power armor w/ skeleton), but they don't seem to have anything to do with the Lil, either.

It does make sense from a monetary standpoint; if you know that you'll recoup your loses after selling only 10 recasts, the rest of pure profit. I guess we'll know for sure if we see those minis for sale from him soon.Hello, all. I was the person that won those auctions you mention so no chance they'll show up as recasts. They may show up as pictures in this forum soon. Collectorfigs really bugs me as I'm not a particular fan of the quality of his recasts. He seems nice but I wish he would stop representing them as anything other than recasts. I will admit I bought some items from him early on (some badder recasts) before I knew what was up and haven't bought from him since.I was the person who told the seller that the "Lils in Ruins" pack (G-17) was incomplete, and the seller did post the information. I had always thought it just had the three pieces in the set (mailbox, armor, tank). My local hobby shop had this as their only set of Gamma World minis for years and I only remember seeing three in it. I didn't see any additional information saying otherwise in the auction listing before I bought them. So, it had 4 pieces? Man, it must be nice to be able to spend nearly $500 on minis.
