Ugh....just after 7 am and Al and I are on our way to meet the group for breakfast at the local IHOP and then head to Denton for the Reaper Tour (Thanks Gus).  Both Al and I look like we've been dragged behind a go-cart race for 25 miles....I've develope some kind of sinus infection, my nose is swollen and has a black and blue strip acroos it, that or I got into a drunken barfight late last night that I don't remember.

Anyway, looking on the final day, we've had such a great time it's going to be tough to say goodbye to everyone.  Met a lot of really great people, and finally got to play in my first game (well, really, just kibitzed from the sidelines).  Matt Finch ran a great game of Swords & Wizardry from his new module Spire of Iron and Crystal, and it had the bunch of us on our toes.  Nice to sit down with Acaeum members BBarsh, Leadjunkie and BlackDougal, along with Rance, my old friend Doctor Joe (the guy who taught me D&D), and Dennis Sustarre to brave the bizarre "eggs" of the Spire. Matt did a great job, and everyone at the table immediately bought a copy of the modules afterwards to find out just what the hell was going on!  Wish I had time to play more but it was pretty hectic.  

Every night one game ended after midnight and this night was no exception, Rob's El Raja Key game went long and everyone ended up with a handful of hit points and ready to kill Chris Finch's thief character who was apparantly opening doors willy nilly in Rob's dungeon (never a good strategy, but a fun one!).  We ended as usual with a late night bite to eat with Frank, Tim, Doug, Al, Jason Zavoda and myself.  Talking gaming and such, it was another great and fun moment for us all.

Anyway, time to hit the road, and more games today as we wrap it up, I'm dreading the half dozen trips to the airport as it will take us away from even more gaming!

absolutely! It was a good fun to check in and see what was going on... thanks guys and it sounded a blast!  

Everyone connected with this has done a fantastic job.  I've been spying in on the webcam.  It's good to see Al, Frank, and some of the others who I've met at Gencon.  Looks like everyone is having a great time.

I'll write up a summary of the group's near-escape from my Castle Greyhawk (they were very close to getting out, and likley would have if we were able to play another 30-45 minutes, but we had to wrap up to eat some very delicious BBQ that Doug cooked up).  

The show has been a sleep-losing, fun-inducing, wonderful time:  being able to catch up again with Acaeum folks from GC2007, and meet folks in person that I've only known online was great!
