ESPN threw a backhanded slap at the RPG crowd in the end of their new Monday Night Football commercial.

I know some people get offended when gamers are stereotyped but I think most of them are pretty funny.   :D

I saw that too.   Very cool.  We (RPGers) may be a relatively small bunch but we did and are making an impact.

Well don't get ESPN currently due to not have extended cable, but that video was funny.  Who uses a dice cup though for that few of dice?

My Dire Gelatinous Cubes are in dire straits, indeed.  My players are dropping like flies, and I had no idea until I checked this afternoon.  I remember seeing little icons popping up last year when a player was in the news, and I do not see them this year.

My QB was injured last week.  Three other players are questionable.  Another player still hasn't signed his contract.

I know that I am a bad manager, but is my team committing suicide or having a work slowdown?  Do I need to make a Charisma roll or something?

Go Falcons!  :)   But they'll lose to the Patriots next week.   :(   Still, I think we're going to have our first back to back winning seasons EVER!  8O

Patriots look terrible so far. Should be 0-2. Falcons are playing much better!
Saints look like the Superbowl Rams.
49'ers could be the sleeper this year.
San Diego finds ways to lose.
Cowboys are marginal. Unsure why they get so much hype except they built that stadium? They have been marginal for awhile.
M A R G I N A L.
Denver will soon have a losing record.
Jets are overrated too. They're good but rookie quarterback doesn't get to Superbowls. Jets offense is marginal.
Baltimore and New Orleans, everyone who bets will be on those bandwagons.
Jerry Jones talks a good game.
John Madden acts like doing MNF was a real job. Thinks it was meaningful somehow, doing some play by play commentary... everyone has ipods now, therefore he retired.
Lots of "good" teams from last year are the suxxors. The bad teams from last year are the suxxors too. Looks like marginal teams, like the Cowboys, have a chance to defeat mediocrity once every few years or so.
The game about to happen is irrelevant. AFC East is irrelevant this year.
How come the majority of these commentary guys are Super Bowl losers?
That Pittsburgh team is the worst team ever to win 2 Superbowls. If you count both of those "champions" as the same entity.

Wade Phillips looks like Porky from the Little Rascals. If there wasn't a Porky in that bunch there sure should have been!

Great finish in the Giants/Cowboys game. Romo looked out of sorts, to say the least.

I dunno where the Giants running game was. Tampa tore up Dallas last week, but Jacobs could get nothing going tonight.

And what happened to Barber? Big bust, line wide open, then goes down clutching his quad 6 yards out. If it's serious, I guess Felix owners will get to see how he does with all the carries. Probably pretty well, judging on some of his work tonight.

Typical Romo.  He is building a solid tradition of folding in big games.  However, he wasn't the only one who helped lose tonight's game.

And, Tharzidun, the Cowboys are the most storied franchise in professional sports.  They are the gold standard other franchises strive for, both on the field and as a business.  Five Super Bowl victories (not to mention three other Super Bowl losses for a total of eight appearances) are surpassed only by the Steelers with six.*
