I seem to remember that it was Stormber who got the last Chainmail 1st.  Close fought with tfm.

But my memory isn't what it used to be.  :D

By the way.  Nice price for this Dragon #1

Palace of the Vampire Queen:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :middle:us

Kit is enclosed in its original plastic bag.  This was a heat-sealed bag, not a ziploc.  The top has been cut off.  This is our personal copy; it has been in our possession since first ordered in 1976 (and has mostly been in storage).  It has never been used for gaming.  We have placed the pages in individual page protectors; otherwise this is as we got it except for storage wear.

Indeed, and at $2253, it's certainly a new record!

Seems like a pretty good BIN for an OCE, with two supplements and a Chainmail:

Four bids from high-feedback ebayers all over $1,750, and possibly a few similarly high last minute snipes, which failed to show (not me though).  I wonder if this will flush out another one?

IMO, that BIN is just a bit high considering its condition.  Looks like there is damage to all four corners, tear along the right front edge, sticker residue in top left corner, fading at the top and bottom edges, and it looks like something heavy was left on top of it for a lengthy period of time causing some sort of circular indentation directly under the title.

For $1100 I would want a much nicer copy than this one.

you're right, but considering the recent rise in the rares and the price of the copy in the trollandtoad store, this is in any case smtg you might think about... i wrote that the price is not completely drool, i didnt write to run and grab it...

Troll and Toad prices only reflect Troll and Toad wishful pricing.
