Sounds like a challenge between the green and red survivors (that's assuming that someone from the red team survives)    :P

Strangely enough I found an hour or two to spare and finished off the Red Team character emails.

I might get to the Greenies tomorrow, more likely Thu/Fri.

I'm happy to say that every player got one of his 3 preferences for a PC, and many got their first choice. It should go well.

Surprised you haven't heard from NetRodent.  I know he's still around, because the bastard recently outbid me on a few items. :D

GREEN TEAM?  I thought those pussies had abdicated months ago.

Not surprising Red Team got their instructions first...it's going to take them a lot of extra time to try and comprehend what Frank's written...hopefully Frank kept it to a lot of 3 and 4 letter words, and drew some pictures also....

Now that's damn funny!!!!  :D  :D  :D

OK Mike... Since you have done so much to defend our team's honor, I nominate you for the position of Green Team coordinator.  I'm sure you'll lead us to a glorious victory, the likes of which GenCon and the Acaeum won't soon forget (as long as we don't battle any small furry animals  ).  Anyway, as far as the Red Team is concerned... well... from that list, perhaps Frank knows a good wet nurse ...:)

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

Gee, Mrs. Cleaver ... That certainly is a lovely dress.

The GREEN TEAM are surely envious of our supreme skill 'tis all.

We proudly wear the blood of our fallen foes whilst they lack the stomach for a good fight. :puker:

Hence their COLOUR. They appear to have the intestinal fortitude (and weak bladders)  :pale: of little kittens when they are faced with peril

Fear not Green Team, the 'Heroes of the Red' shall come and save thee from thyselves!

Hmmmm....

Red rhymes with dead.

That's all I got.

And I also nominate Badmike to be our team coordinator.  Give him something to do besides think about shrews.

Who said anything about Mike being our leader?  Frank just needed someone to be the team coordinator.  I assumed that meant checking rules, handing out pencils, and fetching drinks.

I'm getting an Olympic vibe here.....Team Green is filled with flag waving Americans...while Team Red is filled with Socialist leaning Canadians, Aussies, Brits and collaborators.  Our pre-game meal will be a plate full of good, red american beef---bacon cheeseburgers (american cheese, natch) piled high with goodies and some Freedom Fries on the side, finished off with a good old American glass of Coke (maybe flavored with God's Gift to man, some Jack Daniels Green Label Whiskey?).  Those RED boys?  No doubt some haggis, meat pie, and dingo meat topped off with Vegamite, while some dirty water pumped out of that swill they call the Thames will suffice for drinking.   I'm sure some warm beer will make an appearance, but as most UK imports, will be thick enough to paint the side of a barn, and consumed in such quantity as to impair their judgement considerably (no doubt half the crew will collapse at some point in their own drunken spew, shouting Football slogans like the hooligans they are).

Don't worry Reds, the Greens will let you know how the adventure ended...and try not to head butt anyone on the way out.

Mike B.

The Green team (as in God's Green Earth) has no monolithic "leader", a point our foreign Reds must have trouble contemplating as they have allowed themselves to be ruled by "royalty" (ie inbred bad toothed hemophiliacs) through their country's histories.  No, like the democratic principles we live by, Team Green will be a true democracy, every man among us having a voice and participating in the success. Like American champions such as the Indianapolis Colts, New York Yankees, Boston Celtics, or greatest team of all, THE DALLAS COWBOYS, our game will be a team effort. If my only duty consists of pouring shots of Jack Daniels
GREEN label to refresh my teammates, I serve gladly!

Green Team character emails now sent as well.

(The way this is heating up I didn't want to face charges of giving the Reds extra time...)

As with the Red Team members, every Green Team player got one of his 3 preferences for a PC, and many got their first choice.

Both teams & all players, take all the time you want to construct & flesh out your characters. We'll only have a limited time to roleplay onsite (gotta spend SOME time on the scenario goals), so be prepared.

If your email specified a choice of magical items, be sure to let me know; all such choices are subject to my Approval.

Recap:

I ask that you keep ALL details of your character confidential until notified otherwise by me.

Shortly after the PCs are stabilized you'll receive the Scenario Background. (You have already received a SuperBrief overall background.)

You're all welcome to email additional questions at any time.

green team'll never get to the con in the first place, what with the price of gas, the fact they all drive SUVs and pickups, and figuring in the reduced mileage from the wind drag that those huge-ass American flags they drive around with incur...

Just as a safety precaution, though, I suggest we, the proud members of the ever-clever RED TEAM, encircle Indy with signs directing them to the local "Gin & Gun" club.

Come to think of it, even if they do make it to the Con, they'll prob'ly use up most of their time arguing over who has the largest checks in their sleeveless flannel shirts.

Damn yankees....you guys dont know anything.

You been watching too many episodes of Dukes of Hazzard.  They only wear sleeveless flannel shirts in the DEEP South.  Which is comprised of Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana (maybe Tennessee and South Carolina too).  And they dont fly the American flag from their trucks....they fly the Confederate flag.

Now maybe if you put signs up directing us to the strip clubs you might have a chance.
