Damn it.

I forgot my copy (one the many) of Escape from New York at home. I am very disappointed.

Hmmm...now I have to see what I do have with me....

And I could've bought these damn modules off the 1$ rack!!!

Did somebody say Escape from New York?

(My mom just gave me a box of my old drawings last week.)

Bill:  you want me to send one down in tacojohn's car?  I wouldn't bring it on the plane, but would be happy to send it along if he and I are able to synch up tonight/tomorrow night.

You can rent a copy at any Blockbuster for about $1.99 per night.
There are more of those about than 7-11s nowadays.

There you will find instructions and tips for my adventure.

Checked 'em out, thanks Tim.

As I usually map, I noted your comment:

#6. Decide on a mapper and a spokesperson. My philosophy is that if you said it, you probably did it. Be careful of "loose lips". Bring your own graph paper at whatever scale you are comfortable with. I would not recommend 6 to the inch.

I don't follow your "6 to the inch" comment:  I can bring 10 squares to the inch paper if you're saying that 6 isn't sufficiently large for the levels we'll be running around in.  I normally use 5-squares-per-inch paper when drawing my own levels.

Please advise! :D

If you arent able to scrounge up one of the boardgames we could always do an Escape From New York LARP on Sunday morning.  Just not sure which character I would wanna be.  It's a toss up between Romero and Cabbie.  I just don't think I could pull off a good Snake impression.

By the way, great drawing there Jason.  :)

No, no, no; I don't like the smaller squares except for drawing/mapping outdoors. 4:1 or 5:1 is better. Besides, I always give a good hint as to where to start on the page; it's not worth wasting time figuring out maps when we could be having fun.

Great, then 5:1 it is.  Thanks!

And I'll take whatever other hints are coming, too (I've already printed the DF posts :D ).

Oh sure, feel free to insult me a coule of times (up thread) and then whore me out all you want, grodog!

Call me Thursday, Allan, if you want to send something with.  I'll be running down south Thursday afternoon to pick up....um....something special for the con and could swing by your house on the way back to the office.  Otherwise, I could swing by your place as I head for Dallas on Friday.

Holy Crap.  A guy with the name Tacojohn is "Running down south Thursday afternoon to pick up...um...something special for the con" I do not have enough money to bail the whole con out of jail.

That would be cool. I am sure we can scrounge up some guys to play. Hell, I will play by myself.

Hmm. That didn't sound so good!

Would it have to be renamed Mellow Con or Munchie Con?

Playing by yourself is OK; playing with yourself is weird.

Zazzle sucks.

They charge FULL Shipping for EVERY different Item seperately, and then they ship it all together.

They are without DOUBT, Far worse than any re-sellers on E-Barf.

Yep.  I wouldn't buy from them without some sort of a discount coupon.

Having said that, the shirts I got from them came really quickly, and are great quality.
