I was thinking the same thing.  Anyone who believes their books are worth at least $1250 should be willing to buy other sets for $400-$500 that are complete and in better shape.  If I sell them my 4 sets, they could turn them over for a profit of at least $3000.  How could they resist that!

So are you getting paid to "advise" the seller or what?  With all the CAPS and !!!exclamation points!!! you are throwing around, one might think you are "shouting".  Most people tend to ignore someone who does that.

Emphasis was added to my post above NOT to the E-Mail I sent to the seller.
But, seller ignored it anyway.

The sad part is that this was pretty ridiculous as it was, since it was originally listed at $148, but I guess the seller just wasn't content with that, so he decided to up it just a bit:

With no picture, pitiful description ("hardcover"?), uses E-Bay condition of Good (which means "junk").  Wasted listing fee...

I'm tempted by the octopus cake pan that is reasonably priced at $5.  I bet it would make a good jellatinous octopus.

The poor octopus doesn't know his fate.  Kawaisoni . . .   :(

This pan is NONSTICK and makes it easy to create the friendly sea creature, complete with amazing detail. Kids will love to give the cake personality by decorating it with colored icing, candles and sprinkles...even a simple glaze looks great.

Should not have told me about the octopus pan. Now, I must get it.

From the recent talk of high priced video games, this one caught my eye:

Erm... Okay...  Is there something I missed here?  Because most shrinked copies I've seen recently have been going in the $20-$30 range.

I looked at their feedback.  They've sold almost 1000 items in the last 90 days.  They must know something about what they're doing.

Maybe they think the D&D product line warrants the over-the-top price?
