I can agree with this to a certain extent. But part of it is just having a bit of fun with someone who is obviously a Shady Seller. Questions regarding shipping terms that are clearly stated in the auction seem to get posted but questions about condition/completeness somehow seem not to get posted. Almost as if the seller doesn't want other potential buyers to know the item is incomplete.

The seller also uses stock pictures but doesn't state that. This copy of DDG sounds pretty trashed with a taped binding but the picture makes it look pristine:

Not to mention the other copy of DDG for sale with the same picture (that apparently has 144 pages but with the face logo - truly a rare find):

So, no I don't feel too bad about asking a few questions as a joke - most of the questions are actually informative ones that should be stated in the auction. This seller has all the signs of someone to completely avoid - to add to the list NO combined shipping.

This isn't gradeschool but it is a public forum. Choosing to harass this women publicly is not just wrong, regardless of the reasons, it is mighty stupid.

Normally I"m not one for having fun at a sellers expense. But the seller has proven beyond a doubt they are NOT a serious seller of items (RPG or otherwise) and in fact have a pretty "shady" way of approaching selling. Stock photos, misleading and intentionally vague descriptions, an unwillingness to approach the process with the right attitude....coupled with the awful feedback and DSRS (one single DSR over 4.5 is not the mark of a good seller). Really, the seller is almost begging to be pranked with this sort of resume and attitude.

So far the "harassment" has been limited to silly and repetitive questions with, however, a serious goal of forcing the seller to make the descriptions of their items more detailed. I don't think at this point it's gone over the line....and so far the seller has appeared more clueless and lazy than anything resembling pure Cougie evil. That's still no excuse for answering "I don't know what you're talking about" when asking if a supermodule has the mapbook when there are plenty of other more reasonable replies.

That is one viewpoint, from someone who is doing the harassing. From a different point of view this has been like watching a bunch of kids spitting off an overpass, till someone gets the idea to start dropping things.

Or it is ebay sellers asking that people harass another ebay seller. These requests are documented and public. They are reportable, verifiable and perhaps actionable. We aren't children here, and ebay is a business, but even for children this is called cyber bullying.

If she is a bad seller talk about her in the shady seller thread and recommend not dealing with her. These 'funny' emails are only funny if you are not on the receiving end. This is bullying plain and simple with everyone getting a laugh at someone elses expense.

It is disgusting, I am ashamed of it, and I won't stand by and be a spectator to it.

So the last 2 pages are just a bashing & ridicule of one seller, and there are no interesting items on eBay?

By my count there have been 4 questions regarding 'funny' shipping and the rest related to relevant information regarding the item in question.

If 4 such questions is your definition of harassment I would suggest the internet is not the place for you.

Can't imagine what a copy in nice shape that is complete would sell for now. It seems like a market changing event - what could be more interesting than that.

This lot would be more interesting if it had a lower starting bid. It probably would've jumped to it.

This one is kind of neat, having stuff only available to retailers, or so it says (I can't claim that -- just citing what the description says.)

But, what I find interesting is likely not what you'll find interesting.

But, what I find interesting is likely not what you'll find interesting.

The stating bid (and the shipping) is pretty high, but in the past a Couple of H series modules would command that price alone, especially H4 (if complete). Most of it seems pretty dime a dozen, and the Greyhawk material doesn't go for as much, but I'd be surprised if this lost doesn't go for a lot more than the starting bid.

The one philosphy on ebay is to start out at a very low price, but another is to start out with the very minimum you want to get. I think this guy is being overly cautious with his high starting bid.

Hmm, ignore that second one. I didn't read it thoroughly. Seems just a collection of miscellaneous stuff, like a book from the Time of the Dragon Box Set, and some Chainmail d20 figures... wow. Sorry about that.

Oh. Damn. Sorry, magazines aren't my thing... especially not The Dragon. I'm retarded. Oh well...

I guess that means, then, that the first 6 The Dragons are "Volume I, Number 1 - 6" and that #7 is actually Volume II, #1?

Maybe this will be interesting, seeing as the box set game had that weird run of high prices. I didn't even know these things existed, which isn't surprising. Didn't know they made a Starcraft D&D game, either.
