I also saw it in the newsletter. FANTASTIC !!
And I thought it couldn't get any better!
Picked up my tickets and itinerary yesterday, sop it's full steam ahead.

Any chance on badges again?

Sorry to hear that Gro, maybe it will change again and you'll be able to be there.

well what can i say?

last year, i got to meet frank, tim, gary gygax and a number of others. before last year, i could only have dreamed about meeting such cool guys like that.

this year i will hopefully get to meet Tom Wham! that will just complete my GenCon dream. i think whams art and ideas are fantastic and they have always been amongst my fave stuff. meeting him will just perfect the moment for me and get him to sign my book!

:)

so yes, if he comes, it will be just the best time ever!

as well as getting to meet great friends and have an amazing time again.

Al

It also said that Tim Kask will be back too.  I picked up the Jaroo Ashstaff (and Tim's fishing cap) last year at auction.  So my principal hope for GenCon this year is to expand the world's only collection (other than his, I assume) of articles of Tim's clothing.

KingofPain,

Have you had any luck getting more time off from work so that you can be part of the Tegel gaming on Sunday?  We sure would like to have you in the group.

The earlier the better.

I hear AL is a very shrewd DM after all.

Guy's, we'll want to hit the dealer's room one last time before close up, that's when the best deals are on...last year got two Gencon 40th anniversary books for the price of one, and some other good last minute deals by dealers trying to dump stock. Not to mention I'm bringing a couple hundred items for the Auction and Auction consignment stores, so I'll have to pick up everything that didn't sell along with my money so it may take awhile to get that sorted.  After noon will be the best time....

Hi,

the Dealers list had been updated on the GC website - its upto 270 dealers now.

Still seems to be an awful lot of empty booths tho.

Cheers,
Malc

Yeh, I've already got over 100 items listed, it's very easy to set up and print out.  Here's the link:
