Still waiting for the priority boxes. So time to improvise! Starting Monday I'll be sawing the tubes down a few inches (they are 26 inches) so they will fit inside the 24 inch small priority box (I had been mailing them in the medium size). No use you guys having to wait any longer than necessary. Hopefully the boxes will arrive Monday, but if not, we'll go to Plan B. Thanks everyone so much for your patience!

Very nice Martin! Was it a choice to cover up the print number and artist initials on the bottom? Or did the dimensions of the print dictate that it be covered?

It was my choice. The framers (Michael's) said they could not do cutouts for the signature and number. I've seen other framers do it. I just do not like a block of white around the print. My Otus print is framed showing the sig and number and the white space just pulls my eye from the art work. So I made the decision to cover it for the Easely and am very happy with it.

Thanks! I just wanted to make sure before I took it to Michaels.

I went with a dark matte with the Otus print and showed the white as a sharp border around the edge of the print.
I guess, as with most things in life, it comes down to personal taste. :-)

Only Badmike can truly answer this, but as of Friday night he had not yet received the last batch of Priority tubes but anticipated them arriving any day now. I think there's only fifteen to twenty prints yet to ship. I wish I had more accurate information.

No more shipped except what i listed. I am out of town now but I expect when I get back the priority tubes I ordered several months ago should have arrived (it shows onthe USPS site they are at the PO). So the rest of the orders should ship out asap when I get home.

Hey, I am late in posting as I've had mine for a few weeks but I just want to add/say THANKS to the committee for the work because I think it's a really great piece of art! The quality of the colors is really great and the paper stock is excellent.

I haven't framed it yet... but that's a project for the holidays I think.

BTW, the 'double boxing' is a good idea and definitely saved my picture. The outer box was crushed and ripped open on one end and I was really worried but the inner box held and was unscathed! So, points to whoever thought up that packaging scheme.

So... when do we start ALEAC Part Trois?
