So the guy can list them but not note individual condition? Lot of questions to ask before bidding on this one.

Are they complete? Which items are in the 'fair' shape (what do they smell like, must, cigarettes, the pet?) Which items have highlighting or writing, etc... Right now it is pretty much a pig in a poke.

Works out to about $2.81 an item when you add shipping.  That's pretty good really.  The money back return policy would be pointless since you're going to eat $70 in shipping, MTL.  All things considered it might not have been a bad risk.

That depends entirely on the answers to some of those questions, even for someone buying them for use and not worried about anytjing except completeness and playability.

Must kills a collection, though you can copy the pages and use the copies, but completeness is the big thing.

I was idly looking through the listing last night and seeing how much of it wasn't worth the $2.81 even if it was in perfect shape.

There was a good chunk of worthless material (and that material is normally what is in best condition). Hopefully someone wanting to play the game or a gaming group has gotten hold of it, though large auction lots are mainly attractive to stores and resellers.

It is the question of completeness that would really break this deal for anyone. Maps especially.

I asked and they are 3rd printing april 1975

And I did not think the Woodies came with dice, but I was not curtain
