A number of the past items this seller has sold have the hole punched in the top.

No starburst and no prices on the books.

Does anyone else think that's some weird bidding going on there? I know there isn't any zero feedback buyers in the list, and I'm sure the set will go for much higher, but the activity seems suspicious.

GDW's Dark Conspiracy is definitely sci-fi and definitely horror.  Rifts has elements of both.  And I guess you could consider TORG a member of the horror/sci-fi genre as well.

I am thinking something along the lines of CoC in far-future space.

Dark Conspiracy, Torg, and Rifts are too contemporary, and the creatures of Aliens are too harmless.  I want to see the crew of the Enterprise investigate mysterious goings-on, meet Azathoth, and then get obliterated.  :)

I know nothing about Event Horizon, other than the game's books having a red cover.  :)

[Edit: At least I think that's what those books were called.]

Its a sci-fi horror movie. Very Lovecraftian in its way, but too slow (in my opinion).

Pagan Publishing's old, unpublished "End Times" scenarios were set in the near future, when they were looking back from the moon and Mars at an Earth seething with Mythos-spawned insanity.  Somewhere in my older PC archives, I have the old Pagan playtest notes and such for that as well as The Cult of Transcendence.  Regardless, some of those materials are certainly included in the YS files @ http://www.yog-sothoth.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=6.  TOME released a similar-ish CoC scenario within "End of the World" IIRC, too.

Blue Planet (written by ex-Pagan folks, including the co-author of Grace Under Pressure) shares a similar Alien-meets-HPL slant on the horror side of SF, but set about 200 years into the future (still no Enterprise, sorry Brian ;) ).

End Times was a pretty cool idea by Michael LeBossiere.  It is the year 2140 or so; Basically, Earth has been destroyed and taken over by Mythos beings...likewise the Moon. Humanity only resides on Mars in structures there and the surface has been terraformed to make it barely habitable, only about 2000 people live on the Mars Colony.  Mars is a weird place though, with many alien and mythos type mysteries.  Ruins exist, along with a lot of mysteries about who or what inhabits them.  An expedition is being recruited to return to earth to see what, if anything, still exists there.  Lots of cool adventure hooks and such, I thought it was an excellent example of a workable horror/SF setting.

a DSG and a Dark and Hidden ways module just sold on ebay, but not SWed, and not even sure if that is the original DSG bundled with it...per the acaeum site, there is a slight difference between the DSG bundled vs. the one sold separately. they both appear to be a bit roughed up...
