Maybe that's the reason he quit playing --- he never got to use his d3 and could never find a d4.

Half of the lot is next-to-worthless, but the other half is uncommon stuff --- the Rules Cyclopedia, the Immortals modules, Thunder Rift, etc.  Of course, their value nowhere near the $275 asking bid.

This is an eye-opener:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Is that a record price for Legends & Lore Brian?   :)   Several of these have gone unsold on Ebay over the last month.  And a few sold for well under $10.  And then there is this one:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I'm surprised a book with cover flaws like this one would have sold at all.  Must have been the words "Very Rare and Very Hard to Find" in the description.

Should I offer him $5 for it?

Expert set made of gold apparently.

Basic set with "homeade stick" from the money tree or something I guess.

No dice in either though or it might be more!

"Contains Books"

No shit! What a great description. That'll get it sold.

Maybe they live in a trailer park.
What're the odds they bought it and didn't understand it?

Gotta love that feedback as well.  Odds are if you bought it, you wouldnt receive it in the same condition it was in before they shipped it.

All the comments made that this is not D&D... This settles the argument once and for all... "1st Edition, 1st Printing"

Maybe a first print/edition of 3rd edition (i.e. door stop) but that's about it.  Love the lack of a picture, does he think that it's to delicate to be photographed *quick, post the NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY signs*.

OH MY?!?

Does it violate the DMCA to sell printouts of .PDF files?  If so, someone might want to warn him.  Not being a mini afficianado, I have no idea what sort of value this might actually have but I have to believe that $4500 is a bit steep.

I dont know. Its entirely possible that this is a fair price. Miniatures and miniature scenery (especially dwarven forge) add up really quickly.

This seller might as well just change the description to "Hi...I'm a new seller and have no idea what these are worth but $125 sounds about right."  And I really like this sentence:

These came from my uncles comic book store and must sell.

Get used to disappointment.
