An impressive flourish.  8O

In the movie, we only saw this shot for a merciful moment.  As your avatar, we have to watch Sting stand there, getting gayer and gayer as the image burns.

Ditto....

Sweet, sweet Sting.......

Amazingly gay, isn't it?

My favorite part: no one on a multi-million-dollar production noticed that wearing his cheap digital watch around all day was giving Sting big tan-lines on his wrist.

Poor Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen ... he really hasn't gotten much of a break in any Dune production.

Yeah, but I always assumed it was intentional.

I mean, the Baron does give him a good groping at times....  :pukel:

At the time Dune came out, Sting said he was playing a bisexual psychopath.

I always assumed that Feyd was humoring his uncle as a path to power. The novel seems to imply that.

Ahhh... and no one ever told him to stop. That answers some questions.

Say what? Paris Hilton spots tiger on safari
Jul 8, 2010 4:44 PM | By Staff Reporter

Socialite Paris Hilton has claimed to have spotted a tiger while on safari during her World Cup sojourn in South Africa.

"So many amazing animals here - Elephants, Tigers, Zebras, Cheetahs, Rhinos, Hippos, etc. So awesome!" she said on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

Hilton, who was briefly arrested on suspicion of smoking dagga during a World Cup match in Port Elizabeth last week, also wrote in separate tweets: "Giraffes are Hot", "Ella the Elaphant (sic)", "A Huge Cute Elaphant", and "So amazing, sitting outside eating lunch and there are a family of 5 Elaphants only feet away from us. So incredible!"

...

Hilton later corrected herself: "I meant leapards (sic)".

And again: "I meant leopards not tigers. : p oops"

Hilton was not charged for the dagga incident, although a friend pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined.

===

Now waiting for her to turn up to the match on Sunday and complain to the world that the ball's the wrong shape. Ain't no limit to the number of twits tweeting. :)

OK, is this better?   :D

(And I did have Malcolm's avatar added into the mix, but it was too disturbing.   8O )

[Edit:  And Photobucket has decided that the avatar was too much for them to handle.   ]

Have you considered auditioning for a Village People reunion?

Lebron goes to the Heat.  I think now I only hate A-Fraud more than LeBlow. What an absolute tool.

I live near Chicago, so I'm not exactly unbiased.  But I think this was a dumb choice by LeBron, if his goal was to win titles.  He and Wade aren't going to get along in the long run, and both of them and Bosh are going to have to play every minute of every game, since the Heat has no money to put anyone else around them.

Anyway, it was certainly nice of LeBron to fill up an hour of prime time with his ego and really rub it in the faces of his Cleveland fans.

The real winner here is probably the Lakers.

The whole idea of these three players colluding to form a "super team" just rubs me the wrong way.  But I don't believe they will be as successful as they think.  Too many egos.  Not enough backing talent.  Basketball requires a lot of teamwork and flow to the game.  These guys may or may not form a true team.  But we'll see.
