Looks like a really nice win.  I saw the auction a few days ago but missed the Elixir of Life lurking in there amongst the other items.  Thanks for the heads up, MisterSpock. :)

Even though I decided not to bid at the last minute because I was a little too uncertain about the condition of the RPGA4, it was nonetheless fun to watch the bidding at the end.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Hello Mrs. Cleaver, Theodore.

Coulda been mine for a cool $175 plus shipping. Contacted the seller early with an offer, which he was okay with. He chose, however, to add a BIN rather than BIN only or just take the auction down. Someone jumped and made an opening bid just after he revised the auction before I could hit the BIN.

Ah, swell.

I see that this module used to be "bundled" with The Dungeoneer's Survival Guide......?

I don't recall it.  Anyone?

Did anyone else buy a Dungeoneer's Survival Guide that had something attached to it or shrinkwrapped onto it?

A module to go with that book would easily have raised its game value from its starting point of 0 Value to...well...something higher.

That was what was intended. They slapped dark and hidden with dungeoners, and wild things with wilderness. Put a cardboard header on them if I remember correctly.

I wish people would stop talking about these... 'cause I had BOTH of them at one point... I got them at Waldenbooks and I think they were even sold at "blowout" prices... like $9.95 each for the bundle.

I'm so stupid I can even remember what the hell I did with them... but that was like 20 years ago...
