I am this scoundrel seller!

LOL! ... Not a scoundrel.  Unfortunately, several points set off alarm bells.  One was the incorrect description. Second was the lack of print number and print photo and low res photos.  Thirdly, your ebay account hadn't been user for over a year.   I have personally seen a few examples of accounts that have been sitting for some time then hacked .... So add this all up and what seems like a high price and you end up with lots of fun questions from Acaeum members :-)

In any case truely sorry to hear about the divorce and do hope you save your house.  Also knowing the type of stress that can be associated I hope you and the kids are doing well!

I do suspect $500 might be a bit high especially as a starting point.  But wish you the best.

If you're still looking to sell items, you'd probably be better off trying to sell it here for cash, than to let Ebay take 15% of your hard-earned profits...

It doesn't need to sell at first bite and gauges the buyers. I have not seen more than one or two art prints sold and that was well over a year ago so I was willing to let it play out.  I agree with you but they are worth this...maybe not yet. Thanks.

Yes, that irritates me too.  I have had zero offers here but I think Acaeum members are obviously more shrewd & wise to not only what the current value is, but what they can get it at now before the realistic value is found after more of these sell over the years.  I'm fairly sure anyone with interest knows about it by now & I would rather a member have it but I don't think it's going to happen..  Unfortunately, I don't have any other sales floor comparable to E-bay so it's a gamble on making up that 15%.

Even though I am selling mine I respect how I got it and want to sell at a good price out of respect for the other members as well.  I would hold on to it rather than hurt the value.

Between being forced to sell it and then dealing with E-bay it's an unpleasant situation!

As an aside, I would be interested in the Erol Otus print, should one become available.
