My hot eldest daughter is in Houston and not here; my hot youngest daughter is married with three kids, sorry guys.

Jacob had a great time and Lily (in her Princess Leia outfit and passing out Whoopie Pies, which BTW I got NONE of, thanks to whoever ate all of these) was happy and excited to be at her first ever con. Both will be future fixtures at NTRPG Con, I suspect!

Jacob scored the highest in his class and grade during standardized STAR testing this year; I blame Dungeons & Dragons in general and Barrowmaze (our latest dungeon) in particular; lots of big words in that dungeon he's having to memorize.  RPGs are truly one of the best ways to make our kids smarter, I firmly believe.

Back to our regularly scheduled art thread!

This week we have a slow roll-out of art shipments....Ligmancer, Bombadil, Misterspock, and mdr003 all went out today, please let me know how long it takes to arrive!  Something different this time, the art tubes are enclosed in priority tubes, so these should be doubly protected. I may do mostly USA orders at first because they are very easy to get done, and then work on all the international orders.  Or might mix some international orders in, not sure yet.  Anyway, post here when you get your tube so I can estimate how much time it will take. I have approximately 47 tubes to ship after handing out all the convention orders ( I'm waiting until Frank moves to ship his, and will meet up with seatoskygames later this summmer to hand deliver his).  Also, I know Jason Zavoda and Hector have new addresses so I will be sure to update these before I send out the tubes. Anything else?

I'd love to Frank but it's going to be a busy summer. Awaiting 100 boxes of gaming goodies to arrive at the house in a week from my buddy in Tokyo.  8O  Should be a fun summer. Hope to get most of these out before then!

Are you moving the game collection or is that a a permanent storage spot somewhere?  It seems like it would be lifelong vocation to have to move those every few years.

Thanks Mike - I'll let you know when I receive my copy up here in Chicago.

We're moving house too, but not until next month so should be plenty of time for the print to arrive.

Regards
Mike

I got home last night and found a package waiting for me from Texas. A sturdy Priority Mail package. Inside was another sturdy tube, and inside that was the Acaeum print. And it looks fantastic!

Thanks to the committee who did a stupendous job. It was a long time from inception to fruition, but the print is definitely worth the wait.

Is it too soon to start talking about who the artist will be for #3?

Regards
Mike

Glad to hear you like it and received it well.  The committee wants to see this project through to the end before we start on the next project.  I am guessing it'll be at least a month before everyone receives their print, and I am able to post a financial report.  If any prints get damaged and requires replacement or insurance reimbursement, it could be a lot longer.  Thanks for your affirmation.   :)

As of tomorrow, I will only have 29 more tubes to distribute, the rest either already in their home or in the mail!  Unfortunately I am waiting right now for my next box of tubes to come in, hopefully that will only be a few days, then the 2nd (and final) round of shipping will commence (my fault for not ordering all tubes at the same time).   Let us know when your print arrives!

Awesome news!  This was a long time in coming but I know it's going to be worth it. And I don't mind coming in the second batch.  I have had a few deliveries lately so it's good to spread these out for domestic bliss purposes. ;)

Mine arrived today. Thank Cuthbert for the outer Priority tube! It was beat to hell, but the inner tube stayed nice and minty. :D  Three cheers to Badmike for his shipping prowess!
