If you look at what else he’s selling, you’d assume stratochamp is thinning his collection. Just my guess.

No, different people.

Jeff is a good dude and while he hasn't been active for a while, he is known and was a heavy hitter back 20 years ago. He's just thinning the herd a bit.

Hello! I was the seller here; these went off to eBay's Global Shipping Programme warehouse yesterday (should arrive with them today) so should be off to you quite shortly. I hope I didn't *massively* undervalue them! I saw that your userid was a shop name so do let me know if you're intending to resell them at a thumping profit (I bear no grudges). If they're for you to keep, I hope you love them! I think they're in pretty good shape. I have some more interesting things on eBay at eBay listings , including the first printing of Palace of the Vampire Queen.

The items come from a couple of older SF fans in the UK – one of whom, Dave Langford, wrote for White Dwarf magazine for many years. The funds raised are going off to science fiction fandom 'good causes' (not actually charities) – the Get-up-and-over Fan Fund, the Science Fiction Encyclopedia, and Corflu, the fanzine fans convention. There will certainly be more – for example a white box 4th printing D&D, and issues 1+ (to about 300 or something) of White Dwarf.

Some stuff has almost certainly been lost before my friends realised this stuff was worth any money at all – Dave plucked his 1976 Games Workshop catalogue out of the recycling bin.

I bough the lot, R1 was missing 6 of the modules 16 pages. so basically worthless as a collectors item. asked to work it out with them, eventually settled on half price (so $300 for the lot) B10 is in great shape, others are fine. happy at 300, as i have an R1 now... (i just printed the six missing pages) good deal in the end.
