They are about to be printed at the printer and shipped to Badmike.  The plan is for them to arrive before NTRPGCON where Jeff Easley will sign and number them.  It's still not to late to hop on board for a few lucky folks.   8)

Hey Ben can I pick up one for my brother (his birthday) ?  Or does he need to be a member here?

I admit I had to think about this one for a minute.  However, I think we've been pretty consistent in communicating that these are for members of the ACAEUM.  I have made a semi-exception that if any are left at NTRPGCON that any attendee can get one there.  One of our guiding principles has been to try to keep things as uncomplicated and straightforward as possible, but it's a fair question and there's no harm in asking.   8)

The prints are done and are on their way to Badmike at NTRPGCON!  Everything is on schedule.  Once the prints are signed and numbered at NTRPGCON, they'll start getting shipped after Badmike has recovered from the con.  It's still not too late to hop on board.....       Please, no private messages.   8)

Badmike now has the prints, he says they look amazing.  I can't wait to see them myself at NTRPGCON where we'll be distributing them to those who paid to pick them up personally.  The remaining prints will ship out sometime after the con.

As it stands right now, we have just five unclaimed prints left.  Anyone who still wants to get in on this project needs to speak up quickly and pay.  These remaining five prints will be offered to NTRPGCON attendees where it is first-pay, first-get.  ScketreWhisp has agreed to buy all unclaimed prints on behalf of NTRPGCON where they will likely be auctioned off at future NTRPGCON's.  Remember, these are only for ACAEUM members and NTRPGCON attendees.  No one can buy a second print.

Thanks to all of you participating in this project, and please, no private messages.   :)

My brother (who will be at the con running Circus Maximus and Gladiator) is buying one, so that leaves only four (he said he will give the money directly to either you or I, Chris).

If he comes to NTRPGCON OR is a member here, he qualifies.  I know you're kidding, but it's a good reminder right before the con in case other people are wondering.   8)

Damn straight. If you would just marry my hot eldest daughter like I want, you would be part of the family too and in line to all sorts of goodies. Instead, you aren't coming to the con, ergo you are dead to me. See how that happens, smart guy?

Time for an update, and I have nothing but good news to report.

First, a big welcome to Devon (Burntwire Brothers) on our LE Art committee.  I am confident he will add a lot of contacts and critical advice on all future projects.  Spreading around the responsibility is good for the ACAEUM and what we are trying to accomplish.

Second, all the prints and Certificates of Authenticity were signed by Jeff Easley and the prints were also numbered.  The signing and numbering were done in graphite (pencil) because this was recommended by Erol Otus and his research on the matter.  I was surprised but it makes sense.  You can't print pencil or forge it nearly as easily.  Jeff was a wonderful partner in this project.

Third, all con attendees received their prints who were supposed to do so.

Fourth, all the prints sold except for one!  I can't believe they didn't all sell, but this is nice.  The recipients were (names may be mis-spelled):

#70 Badmike's Brother (who attended the con)
#71 Andrew Hart
#72 Patrick Seymour
#73 Steven Getty
#74 Norman Harman
#75 will be sold to NTX (by way of ScketreWhisp), and I am guessing will be auctioned off at a future NTX con.

Fifth, all con attendees who purchased prints were able to request from Jeff Easley a remarque, a personal art drawing usually done in the art margin.  This was available only for con attendees as trying to manage remarques for every print would have been too difficult to effect or manage.  Plus, it just goes to show what an advantage it is to attend the con.

Sixth, as you might have heard elsewhere, there was indeed a surprise bonus which came with the print, a mini-module!  Last time we included a stat sheet for the monster depicted, and this time we did ourselves even better!  I am hoping some of you who have already received your print will give a review on this thread of this mini-adventure.

Finally, Badmike will begin shipping the remaining prints soon, but this is no small project, so please be patient.

Thanks again to everyone participating in this project, and please, no PM's.   8)

Benjoshua and all:

As some of you already know, I am moving with my family to Chicago this month. My address there is:

25 Camberley Ct.
Hinsdale, IL 60521

Please send the print there; I will arrive on June 18th (hold it off for a few days...). Thanks,

Hector.

PS Keep me in mind for Chicagoland games. Looking forward to it; haven't gamed pen-and-paper D&D in 25 years!

Guys;

I have all the prints now, and they are safely at my house.  Give me a week or so to get caught up on email, ebay shipping, and various other projects and these will start going out. I don't anticipate any issues with getting a steady stream of these shipped out, this time they will be double wrapped (tubes inside of priority tubes) so there shouldn't be any issues, but if there are (prints damaged or destroyed), we have insurance and will deal with it.  If you have an issue just let us know as soon as the print arrives.

One thing not mentioned is that we already have some ideas about artwork for our next print. We have some interesting ideas, but would love to hear from everyone else!

I think the next piece of artwork should definitely reflect the increasingly geriatric demography of The Acaeum membership (myself included).  So for example, a group of elderly adventurers clustered around a gelatinous cube, oblivious to their items being consumed.

Before you dismiss this as ridiculous, Badmike, I might point out that today isn't your tenth anniversary!

Good to hear that the prints are ready, and that attendance rose for the Con.

I think she was there briefly, mostly to drop off the grandkids.  His wife also made a couple of appearances.  His grandson Jacob was quite a smart young man and his granddaughter even showed me her whoopie pies!   8O
