Malc, looks like you just need to pay Bill for shipping, then we all pay Mbass a couple of quid to distribute once they land over here, as I understand it...

FWIW I've paid BBarsh directly, and hope whoever gets it will let me know when it arrives so I can pay for shipping - I'm not too worried at this stage, presumably someone will let me know!! :D

Hi Bill, just curious if the UK sets have been shipped yet? No rush, nor expecting them too soon with the holiday postal speeds, but just interested

Hope the other mods are selling well too

Cheers
Dave   :)

Don't think they've shipped yet, but I'll let you all know when they arrive here. Since I'm shipping various things to Acaeum members anyways, I won't be charging for onward shipping. Most of you have asked me for stuff anyways.

Hi,

mine has arrived, many thanks, but it wasnt tracked at all.

It was supposed to be - and I was sent a tracking number, which doesnt appear to have anything to do with my parcel.

Also, where is it signed please, as I can't find any signature?

Cheers,
Malc

None of mine are signed...
Look at the inside of the cover (rear) for the number.
The next two (RC-2/RC-3) were numbered (ONLY) on the first page of the booklet and also on the inside rear cover too.

If it is a second Print RC-1 then never mind my answer.
I do not have a copy of the second printing of RC-1...

Don't know about the signature, but the group package shipped with full tracking from Bill to my door, and I offered that tracking information to anyone who cared to track that leg of the journey.

The packages were prepacked by Pacesetter, arrived in mint condition, and were never opened by me. I shipped to you with full insurance, and by first class recorded delivery (exactly as you specified, on the date you specified and to the address you specified, forwarding to you your recorded delivery number). I paid the packaging and the postage, and you were not charged for the service.

You've complained a lot about having to deal with me, and the level of distrust you have for me, and I have provided the best possible packaging, the fastest possible turnaround, and a completely free shipment.

It really is about time you shut the fuck up about the service you get when no-one else I deal with has ever had an issue with my business, and you're paying fuck all for the service, have no specific issues or accusations, and don't even have the common courtesy to complain about your postage arrangements directly without having to voice yourself in public for all to read.

Hi,

I asked reasonable and polite questions, however, given you are obviously a twat.

You told me you sent it recorded delivery.

This appears to be untrue, as according to the number you sent me, the item has not been delivered, yet I have it in my hand  (Royal Mail AG440415378GB)

I didn't have to sign for it, and it has no stickers or barcodes anywhere on the envelope.

It was in a nice envelope however, and I did originally pay $21 for shipping from the USA in October, which frankly is quite a lot for a module.

Now its obvious why you hate the post office so much - you have absolutely no idea of their services or how to use them.

My opinion of you has actually been diminished by this, a feat I did not previously believe possible.

I am going to discontinue this now, as I feel you are incabable of bringing this issue to any reasonable conclusion, and suggest you do the same.

Cheers,
Malc

Do you wish me to post a scan of the postal receipt?

I posted to you, by First Class Recorded Delivery, EXACTLY AS YOU SPECIFIED, to the address you gave me, despite me being very explicit about my concerns over the well documented corruption and theft in your local sorting office, and in the full knowledge that Recorded Delivery DOES NOT have interdepot tracking.

Is it any surprise that, of the fourty seven Recorded Delivery packages I shipped that week, yours happend tpo be the ONLY ONE that has had it's sticker removed by the post man and wasn't signed for?

Funny that, but if you want to go there, I can provide documented proof that I DID EXACTLY WHAT YOU ASKED ME TO DO. Now, I don't know what arrangement you have with your post man regarding not signing for recorded delivery items, and I don't know how much personal interest or diciplinary background your post man has, but it is very consistent with the level of corruption in your postal district, and no surprise to me that of all the people I deal with, YOU are the one who claims I have lied once again about my service and provided a substandard level of delivery.

This is a situation you have decided to specifically engineer in order to further show fault in my business. You fail to realise that I documented your request, my concerns that 'something might go wrong at your end',  and the postal transaction. You further fail to recall, as most people in the UK do, that Recorded Delivery ceased being something that the sender did to the package, but was in fact something the Post Office do to the package AFTER it has been handed over at the counter. Long gone are the days when the sender filled out the stickers.

A. Go and learn how the UK postal system actually works. You clearly don't understand Recorded Delivery and YOU REQUESTED IT.
B. Go and research your local sorting office and it's problems.
C. File a complaint against your postman. It won't be the first one. I can guarantee you that.
D. At least have the balls and the backbone to substantiate your accusations with FACT.

I even suggested I ship your copy to an intermediary, at no cost you you, so that you were guaranteed to not receive the package from me directly, and you said no. You talked me out of it. You are clearly lying to the board in an attempt to further your own agenda, and it is no surprise that you managed to avoid signing for your package. This must surely raise questions about your honesty, and you have the timerity to question mine.

Do you want me to start posting copies of our correcpondence, proof of postage, recorded delivery and addresss? I did document and preserve everything.

Are you going to substantiate your accusations about me? Or scurry away under your rock?

I thought not.

Malc,

Bill has already offered you a full no questions asked refund because of all you whining and trolling. Getting your module in mint condition with international shipping for free is about all you're going to squeeze out of this transaction, and that's a damn sight cheaper than everyone else. So maybe now you'll stop your whining.

And you have the cheek to mention Cougie and M-bags!
Is it just a coincidence that your postcode is 1 AH?

well, my package arrived recorded delivery and (as I was at work) was taken in by my neighbour. Its 'signed for' part had been removed correctly as it should be.
However, its not unusual, if a package can fit through my letterbox for our postie to sign it himself and post it!
The RC1s were still in their twin packed envelopes and undamaged. They weren't signed, but I'll live.
I have absolute faith in Ian and Bill for all my future purchases with them.
In fact, the service from Ian was perfect.  :)

Dave,

The number and signature are in the bottom right hand corner of the inside rear cover. I've only openned one of mine, but it's signed there.

Check and see if you have a number and a sig. in blue/black ink.
