Hey Badmike and Aeneos and Deimos, thanks!
Sometimes I post something that I'm really not happy with : the idea might be there, but the way that it gets expressed causes problems, either in interpretation or misinterpetation (ie. doesn't go over well). Even worse, all of the time they're imperfect in some way (this is the most tormenting thing of all, far worse than being hated by thousands, to be damned to an eternity of trying really hard, the futile attempt to achieve something that is beyond the attainment of the deities themselves).
Thanks,
prespos

PS. Great news about the chihuahua movie! I love chihuahuas, and I would not want to live in a world where they don't exist. I look forward to donning poncho and sombrero, placing a 50$ order at Taco Bell, getting a bottle of tequila, a nice crunchy peyote cactus, and sitting in the front row of the theater for this one. This great cinematic event gives me something to look forward to in life, some kind of a purpose, a raison d'etre, a reason to live for the next few weeks. Holy guacamole, bless your soul and keep livin'.
Here's the url for the trailer, everyone :

You know, a really cool Ebay seller (corwin_1 : solid guy, highly recommended) made the effort to add in some extra cardboard to protect some books (a couple mods & a Dragon) that I bought off him.
The cardboard read : Corn Dogs.
God works in Mysterious Ways : and this is nothing less than a true sign from God, although I didn't understand it at the time. I have literally package taped that piece of cardboard to the top of my broom, so that I can contemplate the subtle Mysteries of divine revelation.

Detect Invisible/Hidden: Chihuahuas have keen hearing, and they gain a 20% bonus to their chance of detecting hidden or invisible creatures by sound, as applicable.
This bonus may be halved or doubled according to the conditions.
Chihuahuas are allowed a similar bonus of 20% because they can detect otherwise hidden objects or creatures by scent.
(Total: 40% to detect hidden or invisible creatures, see DMG.59)
Scent: Chihuahuas have a 20% chance to detect and identify people for a considerable distance downwind.
Vision: In strong light, chihuahuas do not see as clearly as humans do, and no dog perceives colors.
However, a chihuahua's night vision is superior to that of a human —
about as good by moonlight as it is by daylight, and as good on a
moonless night as a human's would be under a full moon.
Tracking: A chihuahua can track as an onyx dog can (DMG, page 144).
Hold (trained only) : In combat, some dogs grab and hold on.
The hold is inflicted if the dog scores a hit with a roll of 16 or better, and it may then do damage equal to half the normal bite damage each round thereafter with no roll "to hit." Opponents so held are considered to be held by one leg, with appropriate combat penalties (DMG, page 67 : opponents attack someone in a chihuahua hold at +2 to hit). Fighting breeds do this naturally, and others may be taught the move. A
determined dog cannot be removed unless it is stunned or killed.
Morale: 62%
Chihuahuas with their handlers are treated as henchmen when morale is determined.
In its lair a dog gains a 20% bonus to morale ("every dog is a lion in his own back yard"), and morale may be affected by training, as shown below.
Training
* Chihuahuas can be trained to attack on command, and ones so trained gain 10% to morale.
* Chihuahuas may also be taught the hold described above.
* Chihuahuas that have not been trained to track do so at a penalty of -20% even if they are instructed via speak with animals, and they may forget the object of the search and track something that smells more interesting.
* Chihuahuas can be trained to point out hidden creatures, just as pointing breeds spot game for increased hunters. A dog's ability to detect to detect hidden creatures is not increased by training.
(See DSG.25 for more details on training animals.)

(wrapper save as: parchment or paper or cloth) (rations save as: wood or rope, thin) 9 gp weight (1 gp weight per day)
Spiked Collar: You can accessorize your chihuahua with a spiked collar, which provides AC 6 versus bites from other animals (which instinctively are aimed for the throat).
Rations: It is usually a good idea to feed your chihuahua, as the they are naturally agressive and a chihuahua that is in an underfed state might display a dangerous excaberation of this natural tendency.
As well, chihuahuas are sensitive to certain types of foods, and are prone to hypoglycemia: so be careful what you feed them.
A Wrap spell (UA.47) is more than sufficient to package the remains of slain enemies, to serve as chihuahua rations. Treat this form of chihuahua treasure as standard chihuahua rations in all respects.
Chihuahuas' Minimimum Daily Requirements of Food (WSG.52) are 1/8th of that of a human (reflected in the cost and encumbrance of their rations).
Chihuahua's Minimum Daily Requirement of Water could be considered to be 1/16th of that of a human. Of course, this will vary, depending on their activity level and the current ET (Effective Temperature). (WSG.53)
Remember to keep your chihuahua rations fresh : see WSG.58 for chance of food spoilage.
Armor: Chihuahuas are too cool to wear armor.
[expansion/extrapolation]
[subtropical creatures need half the default amount of water
tropical creatures need a quarter of the default amount of water
again, a temporary default for playability (codeability)]
[chihuahua's have a high metabolism, so it could be assumed that inactivity will always equal light activity in terms of daily water requirements]
Large Scale Overland Movement:
Normal terrain : 30
Rugged terrain : 20
Very rugged terrain : 10
A chihuahua's movement rate is little affected by forests, marsh, or snow; all of these conditions are interpreted as one terrain class better in assessing the difficulty of the terrain for chihuahuas.
Personal Temperature (PT) Modifiers:
For playability's sake, chihuahuas ignore high temperatures of less than 120 F.
However, decrease their personal temperature by 20 : this might be problematic at sub-arctic latitudes and above.
[expansion/extrapolation]
[Chihuahua (the city) is 28 degrees N, so that would be subtropical]
[As a playability default, subtropical animals ignore high temperatures of less than 120 F, just as subarctic animals ignore low temperatures of -39 F and above.]
Reactions of Chihuahuas: (WSG.92)
What Chihuahuas Think About Fire:
Chihuahuas have a 67% chance to become _aroused_ by fire of any kind.
Chihuahuas that have become aroused by fire have a 75% chance to become _agitated_.
Chihuahuas that have become agitated by fire have a 8% chance to go _bonkers_.
Aroused, agitated, or bonkers chihuahuas have a 50% chance of moving around each round in a random direction, if they were previously not moving around.
Weather : (as above for fire, but : ) 50%, 17%, 8%.
Noise : 67%, 17%, 8%.
Odor : 67%, 17%, 8%.
Other : 58%, 17%, 8%.
Calming an Overstimulated Chihuahua: (WSG.94)
The average person has an 20% chance of calming an aroused chihuahua. (Two attempts can be made : if both of these fail, the chihuahua is beyond reason, as far as that person is concerned.)
Someone with the Dog Whispering skill has a (Wisdom+1)x5% of calming an aroused chihuahua.
Only people with the Dog Whispering skill have of calming agitated chihuahuas : this chance is (Wisdom-1)x5%.
Only people with the Dog Whispering skill have a chance of calming a chihuahua that has gone bonkers : this chance is (Wisdom-1)x5%.
In all three of the above cases, a character must have a movement rate equal or greater than that of the chihuahua in order to have a chance of calming it, if it is moving around.
Out of control chihuahuas move around in a random direction
Relating to Chihuahuas on a Psychic Level: (WSG.94)
Only a character with the Dog Whispering skill can truly know why a chihuahua has become aroused, become agitated, or gone bonkers.
Those without this skill can only guess.
Religion:
Chihuahuas worship Roofdrak (Master of All Dogs). (DDG.93)
Although no specific information is given, it is safe to assume that chihuahua priests have unlimited level advancement. (DDG.140)
For those who are interested, the above was compiled/extrapolated from an article in Dragon 103, as well as other secondary sources.
Note: I have not been able to find the 1E rules for chihuahua zombies : they do make an appearance in one of the areas described in the Maztica box set, however.
