For either Rath or Webr Wed. nite, count me in almost certainly.

Kask & Wham may be on tight budgets; anybody wanna treat 'em? If so I'll encourage 'em...

No problem Frank...and include yourself.  Dinner is on us....it's the least we can do to say thanks for putting together a game for all of us.  :D

It shouldn't be a problem. So many people tried to buy Tim Kask lunch last year at the Claddagh that he could have made a small fortune by saying "yes" to all of them pocketing the extra cash.

my wife, son & i will probably be getting in to town around 7:00 pm. if we can get in with our then 10 month old son we`ll all be there. if not, i`ll still come by. i`d vote for the webber grill, but whatever you gents want is okay. as a side note, we`re going to be having to leave in the 3 pm range on sunday, so i`ll reluctantly back out of your game al and open the slot up to somebody else.

Anywhere is good for me, and if I'm at GENCON I'll be there (unless it means missing my Call of Cthulhu RPG event).

Wow, the dinner sounds fantastic.  I wish I could make it -- I sat with Tim (and Contrarian) last year at the Claddagh lunch -- but with my job, I'll be thrilled if I make it out Thursday morning.  Have a pint (or three) for me.

Update.  Here's the list of folks we have committments or tenative committments from:

Malc + 2
Blackmoor +2
Alan +1
Badmike +1
NetRodent +2
Stratochamp +1
Increment
The Burntwire Boys
KingofPain
Smarmy1
Contrarian
yaya
Frank
Tim
Tom
AdderMcone
Wags
Prufrock

By my math that puts us at 28 participants.  And the 3 dignitaries (Frank, Tim, and Tom) dinner is on the Aceaum members.  Hopefully we will pick up a few more before Gencon Rolls around.

Question:  is there anyone not on the list that you think would like to be there but perhaps hasn't gotten word?  Is there any other dignitaries that we should extend an invite to?  PM me or answer in thread.

(400 posts.  Better watch your ass, Al)

Martin

Update:  The Rathskeller has agreed to give us a private room at 8pm on August 13.  Room seats about 35 or so.

The Rathskeller's address is:  401 E Michigan Street, Indianapolis In 46204.  It is about 10 blocks from the Westin and Marriot.  Any cab driver will know it by name.  Should not cost more than $15 to get you there and back to your hotel.  I'm erring on the high side.  It's really not that far away.

By the way, the Rathskeller is locate in a building called the Historic Athenaeum Building.  How about that!

I'm more than happy to contribute to their dinner (and drinking) fund.

Just talked to one of the cab companies here in town.  There is a $3.00 pick up charge then it is $2 a mile.  This suggests that a cab ride from the Westin or Marriot downtown to the rathskeller should cost in the $5 to $6 plus tip range.
