Hey Al, you can always go with some Aussie animals (real but unfortunately extinct) next time.

How about the Bullockornis which is also known as the Demon Duck of Doom. I love that name. Sounds like something from Python movie. A killer duck? At close to 3m tall it packs quite a bite.

Or how about the Trilophosuchus rackhami which is more affectionately known as the Drop Croc i.e. a crocodille which would climb trees and drop on its prey.

Or you could start with the native Australian Jack Jumper Ant. As its name implies it jumps from trees onto its prey. In Tassie they supposedly cause more deaths than spiders, snakes, wasps, and sharks combined.

Well the BIN is completely nuts. But that is one sweet looking Dragon #1. Not to mention the mailer, Tim Kask's signature, and the other odds and ends. I wouldnt be surprised if someone met the reserve. Crazier things have happened. :wink:

As the seller stated; a worn out Dragon #1 recently sold for $400.....

Like you said, this one is Mint and has all the other stuff too.
All in all I do not think that this one should be in the silliest prices thread.
Too high for me of course, but there are plenty of rich fellas out there who are likely salivating while they count out enough platinum, electrum, and gold pieces as I write this post.

I think it WILL go for the BIN price in the end, and maybe a bit more. We're seeing a lot of sheer folly these days, and this is beyond the best one could think of for a Dragon #1. This is a very well-set bait for rich goons.
