Howdy All,

Final note - and then I have to go to sleep!

I dropped the item below from the auction because I have an ongoing research question about their relationship. It seems Gary was going to design a Valley Forge board game (a family/educational game). Later Dave Wesley produced a set of rules based on Totten's Strategos for Musket Era miniature wargames. Then TSR took the artwork for Gary's board game (never produced) and applied it to Wesley's rule book.

I have to ask Tim Kask or Rob Kuntz if they remember what actually happened. Could be an interesting story!

Hey Paul,

So that was why the Daily Discovery portion of the website was never updated after March 2010?

I was beginning to think that item was the "holy grail" of the whole collection.

Ok so I know that there are still over 3 days left to go for this round of auctions.

But I was wondering if anyone else thinks this one is a bit slow compared to the last two?

The M2 with the Skip Williams letter was one of them.

A1? I was under the impression that it was written by David Cook. For that price you'd think it would at least be shrinkwrapped.

Sometimes I confuse myself, the esteemed Mr Cook is the author of A1 of course... Master nonetheless.

Shrink wrapped means it was never looked at...

This thread still has the right price range: about8555.html

I think the last one I saw was $13.00-15.00.

These aren't very difficult to find (even in shrink). It was one of Gary's favourite modules to run - the last time he was up at a con in Toronto, they borrowed my copy for Gary to use as he was the DM for the final table. I got him to sign it. Its a cherished piece in my collection.
