I have twitter, but rarely use it anymore. Too much to keep up with, but every now and then I'll take a peek or post something.

I'm an IT guy as well and not really all that young, but I've always seemed to keep up with the lately social media event.

MySpace - dying
Twitter - turning into a Spam frontier
Facebook - for close friends/family

I have them and except for facebook, which are close friends and family that I use mostly on my iPhone, I don't really use them.
