Yeah, but I question why certain individuals feel the need to proffer unsolicited advice on eBay. I have had it happen to me in a number of cases (and never took it as hard as Tharizdun did, mind you), and in every single instance (maybe 5 times in all) it has been from another Acaeum member who apparently didn't realize I was one also. These messages have ranged from very polite to snide and snarky. Seems like some of us think they're the eBay police, at least when it comes to the RPG category...

Just an observation. On the other hand, all of the insinuations concerning additional shenanigans by undisclosed mysterious individuals targeting other undisclosed beloved individuals is just weird and untoward.

"I'm confused?!  I bought one of the maps from Tharizdun and a Frazier piece.  Tharizdun charged me $20 to ship the pieces to me.  Which I was fine with.  Despite the deal taking quite a long time to finalize, I was happy with the way the peices were packaged.  When I saw his auction and the shipping cost ($35) I thought it was very high.  

I will say that the artwork arrived to me very professionally packaged.  There was little chance that these peices were going to be damaged.

Martin, this is not exactly true. Remember I had to reduce the size of the material attached to the artwork?? I asked you if you wanted me to do so and you did so it was cheaper to ship. In fairness I offer to do that with the art but I don't automatically trim down the excess which can be substantial sometimes.

Edit!! Sorry Martin, I didn't see this till just now,
On the Frazier piece I bought from him, he took it to his family business and cut off some excess paper as the artwork was on a massive piece of paper.  I appreciate that level of service.

Not really... what's "weird and untoward" is that I'm serious... I go visit someone and the wife answers the door, peeking out kinda scared looking, and I'm like "WTF" and I get inside with my GF and we sit there and this person goes on and on (in a shaky voice) about some "Scum Shit" who turns out to be a "member" here. Seriously. Lets just say, as an example, you visit Larry Elmore or maybe Jeff Easley or Clyde Caldwell or someone like Diesel (sp) Laforce (sp) or somebody like that. You go over there and you're all stoked to have a chat and some wine and check out some of the stuff they did at TSR. So you drive down the coast ... you get there and you knock on the door... and the people there are all stressed out... and you're like, "What's wrong" and then it turns out that a member here on Acaeum, "Scum Shit" as they prefer to call the person, is causing them grief and "stalker" like behavior. that's what I'm sayin. It's weird and untoward for me to make these "accusations" but what if I'm just saying the truth
Furthermore, then aren't I (we maybe) somehow slightly guilty by association? it's a personal philosophical opinion that I am. Note that all this kinda went down along the same time frame and then with the "Allison" or Mary or whoever she is fiasco and some other seemingly oddball stuff I got worried that I was in a can of worms.
I'm not over exaggerating.

I guess. Several people were asking me about them via pm (post yank) and some guy even came over here wanting them. I think the bids were at 10 cents or something? People that say I pulled them because there wasn't "action" are pretty stupid considering how stuff jumps substantially in the very last minute or two almost all the time.

Please accept my apology for the 'shady dealer' post. I hadn't linked your eBay auctions with your Acaeum ID and thought I was bidding on just some stuff someone was selling on eBay. If I'd made the link I wouldn't have made the post. I'm sorry if you felt I'd attacked you knowingly, and I'm glad you're back here.
