Also, D1 is a photocopy.  So that's another problem.

So, go get him banned. Or whatever eBay does.

I thought Ebay only allows (for some time now) actual shipping costs+some minor "packaging" fee

It's true but the maximum shipping you can use varies by category, so what they do sometimes is sell it in a different category that provides a larger shipping charge or no maximum limit at all. You can charge different shipping prices on a PH by listing it in Books, Games-RPG, and Collectibles. All three categories use various prices.

I am impressed that eBay took action.  Good for eBay.  But I am not impressed that they need to be told about such a blatant overcharge.

Printed PDF?
What makes you think seller printed it from a PDF?
Why not copied from a D1 module?

It is a common enough item that it can be purchased for less than $10 almost any day.

Only problem I see with it is that the seller placed it in the listing at all.
I would toss it in the garbage instead.
Not worth placing it in the listing.
The other items are legit... and worth more combined than even a mint D1 would be.
No profit in selling a copy of a common module like that.
Only breeds trouble.

I would not bid on it either, as I search for better values than this doofus is offering.
But the Price is not rediculous even if a bit higher than most would bite on.
Plus shipping is free and for that lot that can save at least $5-$10 in the USA.
The Rules Cyclopedia alone is worth close to half his starting price even with the dinged corner.
The PHB looks near mint too, worth at least $10-15, or more to some folks.
If I needed a copy I would buy one that nice for $15, if I did not know another could be obtained cheaper tomorrow.
Wilderness and DM Guide books are also in decent condition.

This seller should have taken the books off that shelf and actually read them...

... They have been sitting on my book shelf for a long time...

Magic the gatherine pocked players guide- good condition

Dragon mointhly adventure role-playing aid- good

Dungrons & Dragons Players character record sheets-un used

Dundgeon module B2 The deep on the borderlands- good

(PRINTED) Advanced Dungeons & Dragons module D1 Descent into the depths of the earth- good

Advanced Dungeons & dragons 2nd edition Forgotten Realms  Endless armies  - good

Official AD&D Wilderness Survivial Guide - good

There are other errors not pointed out.

The seller did OK with some of the big words....
Cyclopedia... compendium...
Seller was able to work out the word Dungeon at times.. (about half the time)

Perhaps the seller listed this during a 5 minute smoke break at the Starbucks coffee shop.
No time for anything but list the danged thing... and get back on broom duty.

Since I can't find the other thread we were putting these things in.  I recently had a bad experience with shipping:

http://feedback.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dl ... ckAsSeller

The seller tried to charge me $126 then dropped the cost to $60 with an additional $5 handling charge.  The actual shipping is no more than $20.  It makes me wonder why these sellers think someone will actually their ridiculous handling fees?  What's worse is that they all seem to think they are justified in charging it.

Hey guys, just to keep everyone updated on the changes that we been working on. We just got done regrading the OD&D stuff, and managed to track down and fix a problem with our RPG products not being able to be sent via Media Mail, they are now able to, although the current Ebay listings won't be updated with the option for it till they are relisted. Going to be working on Basic next for regrading. Have a good weekend all.
