I sell Yugioh cards from time to time and make probably $500.00 a year with little effort.  My son and I play the game and we go to the FLGS to duel and trade.  Yugioh has recently become the #1 CCG of all time.  I know it attracts the geeky younger crowd, as well as some skanky types, but it has helped my son's strategic thinking, and it's good father-son time.  My son also wins the weekly tournament about half the time.   :)

If I had shoved all my MTG cards in a closet, instead of selling them off years ago, I could trade them, easily, for all the RPGs on my want list.

Jeebus, just the set of 40 dual lands...

I have recently looked (again) into selling my cards.. aparently the duel lands have doubled in price in the last couple of months , I did get an explanitation from someone, which I won't bore you with,  he said the best time to sell was now or in next 6 odd months..
that was the silver lining, most other cards suck with some exceptions, it almost worth selling the duels and chucking the rest for the hastle..

When I was playing (wow, 15 years ago), dual lands were $5 cards.  Now they're on the order of $50 cards.  Just that would be $2000 for a set of 40!  And I had even better stuff too.

Oh well.

I offered to trade original art to Brett once for his MTG cards but he blew me off...

Ask me about my new M16!

I'd likely pay a nice penny if I coulod find someone willing to sell an actual complete set of Ruins World. Yeah, good f'n luck finding someone who even knows what the hell that game was, much less one who knows what a truly complete set contains.

Not Troll & Toad, but another seller when asked if he could ship Media Mail:
You are not paying for the shuipping. You are paying for the books. If you reverse what I am charging, shipping would start at $.99

Sorry.   I asked a seller if he could ship by Media Mail instead of (over)charging $75 for Parcel Post.  I quoted his response.

I suspect I know which one you are referring to. After perusing the condition of the contents of the auction, I decided it wasn't worth the effort.

I see.  If you're in the mood, you can report that to ebay.

Thanks, but no.  The shipping overcharge is so blatant that no one will be deceived unless he wants to be deceived.

Two of those books look like library books, don't they? It looks like stickers with dewey decimal numbers or something.

btw, I thought Ebay only allows (for some time now) actual shipping costs+some minor "packaging" fee :? That is completely blatant :!:
