Figured I'd chime in on this, being somewhat of an "expert" on the topic. :-)

Angela's better figures can easily pull $250.  That Lewd Beholder would pull $250 without question if it was advertised on CMoN.

I can't imagine anyone putting it on eBay, but I am just saying...  :D

How ironic that we'll meet for the first time half-way across the country from Philly ;)

Just about all the way across I'd say.

This is like getting a chance to go to GENCON I (and hopefully we will see NorthTexasCon XX+ in the long years to come) although I think this convention will have more people at it.

Sorry to have missed a chance to get in the game you are DMing.

Well looks like I am coming to the convention! (Yipee!). Registered as attendee #61 I believe.

This will be the first RPG convention Ive been to in at least the last 5+ years.

Good to see you are coming to Texas.  8)

It will be my pleasure to meet all the attendees that I have never met before.
That being most of you.

Man, am I looking forward to this Con! I'll be tying up a bunch of fun projects in the next few days and weeks (including a 108" x 72" painting that's due Tuesday!), and they should all clear up right before the Con. It'll be nice to finally get a chance to relax and to BS with all of you :) It's been a busy year!

A clarification on my donation for the raffle: There will be 3 gift certificates auctioned, each one valid for one free 8.5 x 11 character portrait in color or B&W (3 prizes in total). I likely won't have time to knock out a sketch at the con, so if an attendee wins, I'll get their character and shipping info from them. If someone wins who can't attend the Con, Doug or Mike are free to give the winner my email address and we can work it out from there. Please note that I'll be camping in the wilds of Missouri from June 14-23 (and gloriously incommunicado), so realistic delivery on the finished artwork would be early-mid July. I just don't want there to be any surprises or disappointments. The certificates will contain all of that info. Good luck, everyone!

I'm looking forward to seeing you!

PS: It's been in the mid-upper 90's all week here in San Antonio. Granted, Dallas is about 250 miles north of here, but... you've been warned!

So that's where you guys are camping?  Where in Missouri? My wife and I are heading there the last week in June for a campout with her family, so we'll just miss you guys...somewhere near the center of the state, not sure of the location.

As long as I can run with a bacon cheesburger in one hand and a beer in the other...with frequent rest stops....

It's a place near Salem, MO. Heading up to go hide in the woods and bark at the moon for a big Summer Solstice festival. Should be a great time! I'll be taking art supplies with me in case of spontaneous inspiration (hippies are good for that), I just don't want to make any promises to anyone about being a productive member of society. That's what the other 51 weeks of the year are for.

Does this have an assigned place/time as yet?
Do you want Tim and I do to the peddling?

Also... did anybody sign up for any of my events, other than Sat nite?

The guys running the show can say more and correct me where I state something wrongly.

I do believe the items being auctioned will be auctioned AFTER the convention is over.
IE. On E-Bay, or some other place, depending on what the item is and how much they think folks outside THIS specific community might have an interest in it.

IE. Some items might sell far better on E-Bay for a wider selection of potential bidders.
Other items might ONLY be interesting to Acaeum members, and/or folks who attended or wanted to attend this convention.

However, for next year, I think they plan an acutal Live Auction on site.
