Hey, I was at UK Gencon at Olympia when we beat them 5-1.

They had to make the Saturday-night auction wait for a couple of hours because hardly anyone turned up, as everyone was out watching the tellys.

Viva Red Bull!  Except for the shaking, paranoia, and upset stomach, it was great for letting someone stay up way past normal limits.

First, guys, stop telling everyone about the Red Eye.....soon you know there will be crowds of star seekers lined up outside to watch us enter every morning, asking for Al to sign their copy of Tegel Manor, throwing stuffed shrews at me, etc. Not to mention the crowds inside sampling the food.  

I liked the Irish place we had dinner on Friday night...although it was probably a bit overpriced, the atmosphere was good.  Too bad the TGIFridays in the lobby of the Marriot is gone, it was quite convenient.  

The Ram while an institution is apparantly impossible to get into Wed night with all the pre-arranged events.  Maybe it's just me but I've always been known for avoiding the trendy hot spots in favor of low key hidden treasures.  I'd rather not elbow past a bunch of 4E worshippers to find a crowded table and have beer spilled on me by a drunken punk.  

White Castle?  Nice.  I'll have to make it there at least once.

Perhaps Martin can scout out a spot for us. Definitely not a traditional type of restaurant since people will be coming and going all night. Is there a Chuckie Cheese in the area??????

Sounds like another legendary gencon in the making!!  Remeber my wife will join us for dinner on Wenesday night as well

I'm not so sure about that, Kingofpain.  We have several people with wives and such coming.  I think we will get more interest as we get closer to Gencon.  However, we will figure it out.

Plus we have 3 days in New York before heading down to Indy.
