That is a fair question. ScketreWhisp has already stated that he'll buy extra prints, and his intention is to use them for NTRPGCON, so that is the committee's plan at this point. If anything changes, we'll announce it on this thread.

49 people have paid so far with at least four others who spoke to me of their intent to pay during chat last Friday. I am feeling like we're on track to have few left overs. 8)

Thank you, Martin; you are a gentleman. I paid one morning this week before heading to work and simply did not have time to post to the thread. :oops:

Also, thanks to the other great Acaeumites who PM'd me as well when seeing my name on the list at the 11th 1/2 hour. The Acaeum is truly an awesome bunch of guys and gals.

I spoke to Formcritic yesterday, and he said that he had backed out of the art project for this year.

Been working so hard I forgot to keep track of this and post by the 6th, but we were leaning toward passing anyway. It's a nice work and congratulations to all who bought one! We are trying to figure out if we can get to the nt con, so if we get there and like it, perhaps we will pay a mark up and end up with one then! First, even though the "deadline" is past, you can still pay for a print if you wish. Until the convention we haven't actually shipped anything, we just need a hard and fast number should anyone else out there want to jump on the waiting list (which, at this point, is not waiting at all). Second, there will NOT be any prints for sale at the NTRPG Con. We may AUCTION one, or we may not, it depends if we can get a print framed before the con. We may choose to auction a print at a future con. We may hang onto them for ten years and then auction them. Remember, we still have an Erol Otus print (that will be on display at the convention) that we will auction at a future date that has been in our possession for three years now (the other was auctioned a couple years ago).The key is to get back what we spent, and to help finance the NTRPG con. If that means sitting on a print for several years, and that is to our best advantage, we will do so.

If I had to guess I would say we probably will auction a copy this year since Easley will be at the show, but that's not guaranteed. Just letting anyone know that if passing on this, you might not see a copy come up for awhile (if ever). How many of the Erol Otus prints have come up for sale since the initial offering? Two? Just a word to the wise that if you are interested, you might want to jump on these now. Of course we understand if financial or aesthetic issues prevent you from following through! :wink:

The Acaeum Limited Edition Art Committee (ALEAC) must also assume that all other buyers who did not pay by the deadline are no longer interested in the project. As additional people submit their interest on the thread and pay, anyone who missed the deadline can potentially lose their ability to participate. Halfway through NTRPGCON, all unpaid prints will be sold to NTRPGCON (ScketreWhisp®). Please, no private messages.
