Angela Imrie

I'm sorry. She is someone of note in the "miniature painting" industry?

And, what if someone wins and does not want the figure painted?

Angela is a very well known and regarded artist in the miniature painting industry....as well as being Blackmoor's (Jeff's) wife.

Honestly, anyone winning and choosing to not have her paint the figure is clinically insane.... :D It's akin to winning a new car and choosing to go with the primer over a custom paint job!

http://www.blackmoor.ca/

Let's just say if you were in it for the money, you could have her paint the figure and then put the finished product on ebay, by mentioning her name and having a good photo you'd pull in $50-$100 easy...

If I win it, it wont go up on E-Bay.
And I will send it off to Angela with return trip and insurance funding as well.

Plus if I dont win it there, and if it goes up on E-Bay and I have any money.... ?

Well considering that I will be there just give the model to me and I will take it home for her to paint. :)

OR

If you have the mini by next weekend you could give it to her yourself at ReaperCon (she is teaching painting classes there)  and she may have it ready for the show.

Cool. I had no idea. I'd want it painted, but not after the DMG style. It would need to match the other one I have. :)

Ok, let me update these 2 here, but it shows them on the site correctly:

Raffle Items:

- Beholder miniature painted by Angela Imrie
... raffled to anyone purchasing a ticket ...

- Demon Idol from Otherworld Miniatures to be painted by Angela Imrie

Can only attendees can buy raffle tickets...?

Or, is there a way to participate and support the Con if we can't be there?

Best of luck with the event guys - I wish I could be there   :D

Anyone can buy tickets.
Some items in the Raffle can only be won by attendees.
Others can be won by anyone.

The web site makes the items available pretty clear.
http://ntrpgcon.com/raffles.html

Raffle Tickets will be $5.00 ea
You must be an attendee to win some items
Drawings will be held Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Once a ticket is drawn, it will not be put back in the "hat"
All tickets are good for all items (So buy lots of tickets)
The Raffle is to help offset the cost for the convention

Items to Raffle

more items may be added to this list

The PayPal page shows BBSFiles.com - that is correct for this PayPal transaction

"*" - indicates you do not have to be an attendee to win
(meaning walkins or offsite persons may purchase tickets for these items)
buy tickets from PayPal link if you won't be at the convention
raffle ticket purchases will be sold up until 15 min prior to each drawing

I have seen some painters in my day; this lady can paint.
That Beholder would look so nice in my cabinet.
Guess I'll buy a ticket...

How ironic that we'll meet for the first time half-way across the country from Philly ;)
