Arrghh...

I guess we'll see... I'm kinda an optimist: maybe this one is the one in the pic (fingers crossed for luck)
.
.
.
but... someone smart said not long ago:

In general, I don't like this seller's descriptions.  They all seem to be "new" but not in shrink and some of the "new" have cover wear, etc

eeek... told ya so...

Good call on factoring in the packaging...that sounds more logical

By the way, Rakeesh, on an unrelated note where are you from anyways?

She got a great sale.  The Dungeoneers Guide and Wilderness Survival Guide are worth very little.  Good for her. :)

I got a sealed set of DD%s a few years ago for $15...

I figured twice as much on them nowadays... but yeah, it's the package that's worth anything... I have many of these sets of dice without.

$15 good price do not think kept any without blisters apart from prototypes from frank m were not exactly best of dice imo

Expert set went for nearly as much as a decent H1 seller had up!!

Don't like the 'private' listing thing but it's not worth shilling if you win your own items - somebody must really want this stuff

Here's another one that seems to be going for a lot:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0365988100

Maybe because it contains the rare B2 Keeper on the Badlands module.

...then you look at the description

"BOX IS IN VG CONDITION WITH SOME WORN CORNERS."

...then you look at the photo of the box. Yep, that's some "worn corners" alright!

The only serious thing I could say is that in the second photo, the booklet is a first printing of that edition which may account for the high price, even though the dice definitely don't look original.

I also had this lot sell which was equally suprising

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Yowzie! Overseas buyer on this one as well bringing the total cost to around $160!!

It was a pretty good week    :P
