Ok so these are some fun looking items. I've seen the iq3 before but I just never want to spend that much on it. Does anyone have a comment on this price?

It's at the higher end of the sales spectrum.

It's also *technically* incomplete, since this was included with Inquest Gamer magazine #50.  That might not matter though to most.

There have been some listed as in SW.  Don't know if these were ever available separate from the Inquest magazine.  Maybe?

What's the eBay Blacklist?

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

One of my all time favourite items. A set of these, a basic and expert book, a set of polys and a pad and pencil, and you have everything a creative DM needs to build a world. If you can't get past a creative block with the first 250 issues of Dragon, you really aren't cut out for fantasy gaming. Maybe I have a jaded view of Dragon because it was such a rare thing to see in the UK in the day. Maybe White Dwarf was valued the same way in the US when Dragon was on the shelves of every bookstore and newsagent. I don't know.

Not that I'm aware of, and not the only D&D scenario to have been bundled in with Inquest IIRC. I'm sure I've seen one or two others. It's a fair price regardless of the magazine not being present, but only if you're really into either collecting scenarios, or into collecting non-TSR. Better than the Pulp Dungeons and those things AEG put out, but not Dungeon Magazine quality.

There are 4 InQuest AD&D related items - 3 adventures and 1 catalog/list type item.

The InQuest magazine is usually required (as dbartman mentions), usually additional adventure details are found in the magazine.

Here is what I have on them:

InQuest Magazine #36, (Into the) Exile Zone        IQ1        April 1998
InQuest Magazine #42, AD&D Guide
InQuest Magazine, #43 Forbidden Ground IQ2
InQuest Magazine #50, Warriors of the Grey Queen (Gray Queen)        IQ3

I do have all of them *except* the InQuest magazine #50.  Darn.

*g* That did change when the cover price came down to 95p for the UK release (could hardly move in a Virgin Megastore for stacks of 'em) but they left that a bit late in the day and the Imagine debacle still rankled... Import prices before then were no joke, indeed. :)

Surprised no-one has tried this one yet along with another item or two to see if it flies OK;

I know we`ve talk about this before - I think IQ3 is the only one that doesn`t have a significant portion of the adventure inside the magazine.  I`m sure it was only available with the magazine - shrink``d is possible if it comes with the magazine still in the original baggie.

I haven't posted it anywhere (I could, but not terribly relevant); it's sellers I've placed on an internal list that automatically blocks their auctions from being posted to the forum.  The usual egregious cheaters, liars, and stealers are on here - cougar, Eastern Treasure Chest, etc.  There's no harm done in attempting to post one of their auctions... it just won't post.

Just wondering why this and several other auctions you have posted are considered interesting? Like the Hellbound boxed set, common module lot etc. Were they owned by a former TSR employee?

Available now from Die Cast Games: Night of the Black Swords by Allen Hammack (Author of C2-The Ghost Tower of Inverness) with artwork by Jeff Easley and Diesel.

I post whatever catches my eye. I'd post common module lots if the price seemed good or the lot was large enough. I think I just posted a less than common or uncommon module lot that had a good price. The Hellbound boxed set seems sought after if you are collecting Planescape. I post the big dollar stuff if I haven't already seen it posted but I also think the small dollar stuff is worth posting for the beginning collectors and as general interest.

Mars,

I'll have to check my copies again to see what each adventure needs from the corresponding magazine.

Because it's not the original pic?   :P

RPG’s, D&D in particular has had a major influence in my life. It’s bonded me together with life long friends...it’s that bond in life not just as friends, but in our jokes, our mannerisms, and what we find funny. Invincible Overlord

Well, NKG almost invariably uses file photos but that description and the file photo undeniably describe a lizard 1st print. In "excellent" condition, $75+ wouldn't be unreasonable IMO: they were selling for more than that 7-8 years ago, anyhow.
I'd presumed an error in the listing and was waiting to see who might test Aaron's goodwill: he's normally pretty good on that score. :)
(Yes; tsk, tsk for me not bringing it to their attention - sorry!).

Hopefully if a member bought this lot, they weren't looking for a complete DM screen:
