Yeah, that set was annoying more difficult for me to complete than it should have been.

This is not a highly coveted item by any means or an extraordinary completion, but it is significant for me.  I just completed my collection of Dragonlance modules, DL1 through DL16.  I bought DL1-DL14 as they came out years ago, but only bought the last two modules in the past year.  I was also pleased with the price I paid for DL16, although it wasn't exceptional.

I received this module yesterday, and it was indeed in near mint condition and still, sort of, mostly, in the shrink wrap.  I have heard that the series is difficult to DM and railroads players excessively, but the cover art was some of the best in my opinion.  Oh well, another little goal crossed off the bucket list.   :?

We played it as it came out and it was very different from previous adventures.  Basically you followed th storyline of the book.  We failed though, no one wanted to play Tanis LOL

As I read through DL1-14, the thing that I always wondered about was the simple problem of logistics.  How do you get eleven people to play a series that would/could take five or six years?  Even if you gave each person two character sheets, just getting six people (five players and a DM) together over that length of time just isn't practical.  I am assuming that you play one night a week on average for four to eight hours a session.  The whole project was admirable, but overly ambitious.  I must admit that I did enjoy reading the series, so it was not a complete loss.   :?

I always wondered that too.  Even if you had the people, or 2 characters per person or had 5 of them controlled by the DM.  How long would it take when you have so many characters - 11 is a lot of characters to coordinate.  Every session, you'd get through 1 battle.

Might not be as great for you guys as for me, but, behold! The entire Fourth Edition product line. Everything I know about that exists from WoTC for 4E. Even all the store exclusive modules and stuff. Took a while, as some of the stuff is hard to find! :) But, as always, worth the effort.

Oh I have them too. They don't get a spot on the shelf, they are THAT lame. :)

I just remembered the 4e Fortune Cards...

Zen, did you manage to collect a full set of those? Some of the promo cards seem to have had quite a limited distribution... I think I'm still missing one  :(

Nice set.  I have about 75% of the common 4e stuff; the Lair Assault and Wednesday night Encounters stuff is just too hard to get out here in rural CT.

We played 4e for awhile - it's not too bad to play if you keep the rules lawyers in check (guess that's the same for all systems).

You mean those ridiculous money grab "we make Magic so let's put Magic into D&D" cards? Hell no. I play D&D. I don't mix my deckbuilding into my D&D. :)
