Deadlord wrote in Random Thoughts or OT Chit-Chat Thread:...On top of that, the DM had a SUITCASE of books that weighed more than a cast member of The View. According to him, he needed all of them. I was tempted to weigh in about a game that used to take 2-3 books now taking 30 and how he was carrying the GDP of Sri Lanka around in a suitcase just to play a game based on imagination, but it would have been pointless.

The detour took me past one end of my old high school (40 years graduated this year). The HS was attached to a largish church and grade school complex, but was shut down about 15 or more years ago. There used to be a football/sports field neighboring a firehouse when I was there. The field and firehouse are now gone, replaced by a shopping center, of which there are already tons of shops in abundance in the area. Now only memories of playing on that field for PhysEd classes remains. The spot where I broke my wrist during a flag football game is now an aisle in a shop.

Her attention to detail, realism, and stylistic approach is the stuff of legends. I wish she was still with us, making more in-depth D&D maps. She was a great cartographer. RIP.-SKA
