"Oh thank you, I've always wanted a complete collection of Dragon in the house!"  It's worth a shot.  At the very least, it will be quite the surprise.

Yet another reason I love this site.  I come for the history, valuations, anecdotes about the printings and the educational value... however I stay because of the conversation and humor!

"£5500! Are you serious? Divorce lawyers cost more than that."
"I was only looking. It's not even in my watch list, see."

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Haha!  I’ve used that “watch list” line before.

But a divorce will bring you more peace of mind than a Dragon magazine collection. The best option is spend the money on the lawyer, THEN get the Dragon collection.
Win/win.

If you hit a Rowsdower, you get to keep it.

I bought a copy of the Expert set on Ebay a few years back and found I'd bought one of these mini sets (it had a photo but never said it was mini). I felt cheated, but now think perhaps I got a good deal!

Six are the numbers of dice in this ineffable edition, six & not five, six & not seven. Learn this wisdom, & be wise in the understanding of it, investigate these numbers, & draw knowledge from them, fix the design in its purity without frankensteining, & pass from it to its buyer.

These six Numbers of dice, beyond the Infinite one, have the boundless campaign realms, boundless origin & end, an abyss of good alignment & one of evil alignment, boundless height & depth, East & West, North & South, & the one only dungeon master & king, faithful forever seated on his throne, shall rule over all, forever & ever.

These six dice which are ineffable, whose appearance is like scintillating polyurethane, have no end but are infinite. The word of Gygax is in them as they burst forth, & as they return; they obey the divine command, rushing along as a whirlwind, returning to prostrate themselves at his throne.

These six dice which are, moreover, ineffable, have their end even as their beginning, conjoined on a mold sprue, even as is a flame to a burning coal: for our dungeon master is superlative in his unity, & does not permit any second one or showboating, cocky elf players. &nd who canst thou place before the only one?

Great promotional item here:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I have 2 concerns though:

1. The logo is wrong

2. What is the ultimate goal of such a product? New gamers do not know the ref to the DMG 1E... Old gamers are not those kind of ppl who buy these things...

In any case great item! (There are two other action figures in this line of products)

I'm an Old Gamer and think these are pretty cool! Never seen them before, but I bought all three after seeing this post.

They have a TON of figures on their website. Pretty cool stuff
