I couldn’t view the auctions, it looked like details were removed?  One just says D&D and one says Ral Partha and the pictures aren’t there.

dbartman wrote in Interesting Items Currently on eBay:This is a tough one because it looks authentic, at least from the pictures provided.  If I were to speculate, my guess would be that at some point the loop was repaired/replaced, or perhaps some of these buckles were made with that style of loop.  Having a closer look at it would help to determine if it's an original or not.

It would be good to get some provenance from the seller on this.

I contacted the seller and asked for the provenance.  Seller replied, "Private lake Geneva collector. They want to remain anonymous. Thank you for your interest.".  I asked a follow-up question and brought up that the buckle had some signs of being counterfeit.  Seller never replied again.  And the buckle sold for $409.00.

Everyone who's ever lived in Lake Geneva and still has a D&D set in their garage is 'a private Lake Geneva collector.'

This week I've been mostly eating . . . The white ones with the little red flecks in them.

Is this unlicensed? ...or is it licensed (and therefore a new frontier for licensed items should be set?)?

Unlicensed, but looks like its worth the money.
The material looks like the same material Eagle Creek use, and it looks like the same is printed on both sides because one side has a zipper.
I'd buy it if it were not for the $50 shipping cost to the UK.

I see a ton of TSR stuff on the site redbubble.com. Pretty sure most is unlicensed if not all.   I am surprised Wotc/Hasbro doesn't go after the sellers or the site.

It's all free advertising. They don't go after any of the PDF distributors, nor any of the PoD sellers, and those are all illegal too.
As regards 5e, their very own creations, if they cannot even secure their own digital products before they leave their own desktop, why would they ever give a F about someone doing something with IP the never even created? WotC/Hasbro should probably start cleaning their own house and protecting their own IP before they try enforcing inherited IP.
I honestly don't think they care about any of this.

I think they may be afraid of the backlash if they did/tried.  Case in point, Metallica with Napster. Then again they went on to sell more albums than ever...

I think they make more money out of piracy and theft that they are willing to admit to.

Fair price on the Dragon Archive, especially if you're in the UK.
More of the value seems to be moving towards the quality of the box now that the data is freely available, and this box seems to be pretty fine, so good shelf appeal for collectors.
Can't talk to the Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas, but I suspect its a little rarer and the same story holds regarding packaging.

It will be interesting to see what this sells for.  These have not come up often in recent times.
