BUT, the post that goes into the belt hole does appear correct (the other major way to tell a fake). I think there are a lot of fakes that have made it into collections and are now being sold by resellers without knowledge. IMHO, the collector should assume a buckle is fake unless it comes from a known source (TSR employee, Collector's Trove, etc).
