The decimal point in the starting price seems to have shifted a few places too many:

Look on the bright side...if he sells that lot for $700, most of the collectors on this site have the potential to be millionaires.

This was the response I found in my e-mail this morning to my querry:

"No, these are the books my husband played with when he was a child. He wanted to sell them at this price. I don't want to sell them because they aren't worth the trouble and the cost of the fee to put them up.

- lil_spade_84"

So she's blaming her husband...

The buyer came through yesterday.  I was about to get excited for you.  Wait, that didn't sound right.  You know what I mean.

Maybe not the "silliest", but still a bit high for a pretty common item:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Advanced-Dungeons-Dragons-Dungeon-Module-S3-9033_W0QQitemZ170301193707QQihZ007QQcategoryZ64QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

...of course, if the BIN seems a bit steep, you can always "Make an offer and get it for less"

Nutz.

No, I don't usually save screen shots, I am just going off memory. It was a later printing for sure with the blue ink though.  I tried doing a few forum searches because I know we all discussed it briefly, but I came up completely empty.

I actually found where were discussing it, but no one ever posted a final price:

viewtopic.php?p=35078&highlight=folio#35078

The last update concerning the price was $225 with 30 mintues to go.
