I am not in 5E collecting but this is definitely a pleasure to my eyes:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

I do not comment the BIN as i dont follow current prices for such a line of products!

I have a complete set of these as well.
The Volo's Guide alone goes for around $1400-$1600 CDN on the high end right now.
I'd say the BIN was a more fair price TBH.

Ouch. Nothing like throwing Jean Wells under the bus.   :D   So it was a little risque, the audience it was made for didn't mind.

It is rather unusual to see no bids on such a boxed set...

It got little love from TSR employees when it was in development as it was known as The Phallus of the Silver Princess in house.   8O

Ok, two questions here:

1. When have 1E postcards been produced? (That s the easy one)

2. Who and moreover from where should someone send a postcard of Tomb of horrors?!?

This is smtg you do not find everyday... This is the ultra rare upset down print of Q1:

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Grab it, it usually goes for a couple of thousands due to its rarity!

If someone does not know it yet, this is the super rare printing of this module: it was designed, printed and sold upside down... No one ever realized that it was sufficient turn it by 180° and TSR management at that time simply decided to retire the product and pulp it due to this terrible production error... It is said that only 4 copies survived!

They appear to be professionally bound original Dragon magazines.  I've come across these before, so it's not that unusual to see.

Strange they didn't break it out strictly by the year.  Not sure I like the idea of having a telephone book on my lap.  :D

Per the image, the (c) date is 2021 WotC.

Dear Mom—

Spent my spring break in Naerie, County of Sunndi, and, on a lark, some friends and I explored down into the Vast Swamp for a long weekend. Not too many interesting folks out there, other than the bullywugs and a strange fellow hopping around and spouting off the strangest things (even weirder than that guy back on campus in Greyhawk!).

Out in the middle of nowhere we found this odd cairn rising up from the reeds. Poked around a bit and discovered a couple of entrance corridors. Thought I’d drop this note to let you know, so you can Wish me and Mordy back in the event that we don’t return after break.

Love you, and I’ll be home for Needfest!

Your son,

Tenser

The thickness really varies from year to year - I imagine it would be much more of a hassle to have these all bound at different thicknesses.  Plus, the appearance on the shelf would be less attractive, IMHO

So the single white page printed 7 days ago is worth over $700 bucks?   :D

That is a crazy price.  Kudos to Mr Ward!
