I'll be at the MSU vs Harvard game and the ND St vs SDSU game Saturday in Spokane.

Look for me in the stands - I'll be the guy in the pants :rendeer:

Well, the Acaeum tourney bracket challenge winner is Badmike with 73 points so far and Lucyjoyce and I tied for second place with 66 points.  Since all three of us have Florida as the champion and Florida the only team left for all three of us, the points may change but the standings will not.  Congrats to Badmike for a well-picked bracket!   :)

Well picked at the last minute using several hunches....but with only one team left for the Final Four, it was  crap shoot....lots of upsets this weekend.

If anyone is interested, here's two March Madness bracket groups where you can win fame and fortune.  Badmike won it all last year.  You can enter one, both or neither group.  Your two entries do not have to be identical.

Registration - CBSSports.com

The name of this group is "ACAEUM" and the password is "123abc"

Or, you can go with this group:

http://www.foxsports.com/fantasy/colleg ... word=Gygax

The group name is ACAEUM and the password is "Gygax"

The first game of the Round of 64 is 12:00 PM ET on Thursday, March 19th. You can adjust your brackets until the start of the first game.   Good luck!   8)

And here's where we stand:

Image

The top three all have Kentucky and Duke advancing and Kentucky winning it all.  Unless I am mistaken, I do not believe the standings of the top three will change no matter the outcome of all future games.   Correct me if I am wrong.  8)

Wrong Thom, if Duke wins, you get the #1!  Look at best possible scores, everyone else picked Kentucky.....you chose Duke...you can beat everyone.

Congratulations throwi!  I tie for second again this year.  At least I am consistent.  :?

No one else apparently played this year, so I finally win it all.     However, I was able to correctly predict 43 out of 63 games which is pretty good.  I only got two of my final four teams correct, but that included North Carolina, and I picked North Carolina to win it all, so I was pleased.   :)

The game itself last night was not that fun to watch.  The refs were whistle happy or the teams were foul-happy, or both, but it was a messy, sloppy game.  The best part of the tournament was the One Shining Moment musical montage at the end.   :?   I am ready for baseball!   :)
