I’m not sure if this was a licensed item or not. I hadn’t seen it for a while.
Anyone have some info on it?

Mike

The only licensed one I know of was 3rd or 3.5 edition.

** expired/removed eBay auction **

Available now from Die Cast Games: Night of the Black Swords by Allen Hammack (Author of C2-The Ghost Tower of Inverness) with artwork by Jeff Easley and Diesel.

This 4e one looks legit. I have owned a couple that I bought from gamestores - they were sent to gold level shops.

I have a different 4e one that came from the slot machine and there is also a 3.0 edition one with the sword dividing the words.

I'd be interested in that pinball ad if and when you sell it. Would look nice framed next to my D&D pinball machine! :)

Recent fun find was the advertisement in the middle. Anyone know what magazine it came from?

No, but you just burst my completion bubble with those three boxed sets.  I thought I had all of them - dammit!

Dunno, but it looks like something from a product distributor's-type periodical. You wouldn't tell consumers to "jump on our bandwagon," they'd think it sounds weird. It's the kind of boastful challenge made by one macho salesdude to another, both played by David Koechner.

The candle set is interesting because it is the sort of '70s/'80s kitsch that often depicted D&D-ish fantasy subjects, but is particularly elusive because most of it has melted.

Finally picked up a decent condition 1st print of PotVQ.  It's been on my ISO list for many years.

This was technically not produced by TSR, but distributed by them.  It is supposedly the first D&D module ever published.

If interested in the details of this module, you can check them out here:

Palace of the Vampire Queen

Congratulations Doug. Anything else you need from Wee Warriors?
