bbarsh wrote in ACAEUM LIMITED EDITION ART PROJECT - TRES BIEN:All the prints have now been sold, but Teague has not yet paid for his print. If anyone is friends with him, he really needs to pay as soon as possible.  I sent him a PM a while back, so avenue was unsuccessful for me.  If he does not pay, then we'll have one more available.  At this point, we will not shift print numbers, but simply sell his print number slot.   8)

I logged onto bbarsh's computer and sent this without realizing I was logged in as someone else.  Sorry about that. Everyone who saw the prints were very pleased.

Here's who bought the three unclaimed prints we had available at NTX:
72. Bob Bledsaw
73. Andrew Hart
74. Stratochamp
The first two sold fairly quickly and the third was bought on Saturday, I believe.

Finally, here's a photo of Larry signing and numbering the prints and me helping him.  Larry also individually signed each Certificate of Authenticity.

Just a note I won't start shipping until next week...July. Sorry about the delay, but I had back-to-back conventions this year (NTRPG con, and then Texicon).  I get through with Texicon Sunday, so my next project is to start shipping the artwork.  Thanks for your patience!

Also if you have a potential issue (example going to be out of town the entire month of July and you dont want your art print gathering dust in the post office) just pm me here and let me know. I generally ship by print order but i can juggle that around as needed.

And here's how it looks in my man cave along with my other Limited Edition art prints!

And here's a close up of the corner so you can get a better idea of the matting colors and frame I chose.

F-ing awesome.  That looks great I can't wait to get mine. Looks fantastic next to the other two! Hope to get my hands on that Otus print one day. I still think we need an Easley or Elmore Star Frontiers side project!  :) Oh ok I'll shut up.

LOVE it!  I can't wait until mine gets here.  It's great the way you have them all displayed together.  I'm jealous.  I missed the first two....

Hello friends;

The first shipment will go out tomorrow!  Finally caught up here after the two cons and ready to get down to business.  I will try to ship out 4-5 daily for the next few weeks and we should be finished.  First load will be prints 1-10 (minus the ones given out at NTRPG con, of course).  A few points:

1.  If you have gotten back to me about delaying your print mailing until August, I have that written down on my master sheet.

2.  For domestic mail, I was able to fully insure the artwork and use signature confirmation, it was within the budget!

3.  Unfortunately, there is one hiccup. The paper used for the authentication page is very high quality but that makes it very thick...when rolling these up to fit inside the tube, they have a tendency to bend/fold rather than roll up in a nice tube.  I got better at it as I went along, but the first half dozen or so, you may have a slight crease in the authentication sheet, I tried to minimize the bend as much as possible.  Try flattening it out when you get it for a week or so under something heavy, hopefully it will make it look better.  Sorry about that but neither Chris nor I dreamed that using higher quality paper than normal would lead to this type of problem. Since these typically get stuck to the back of the frame it should matter that much.

As before, let us know when the artwork arrives so we can cross you off the master list.  Definitely let us know if there are any problems (not arriving, damaged, etc).  Being sent by priority mail should minimize the time these are in the system, and they are trackable.  Last time at least one package took quite awhile to arrive, so be patient. Thanks!

Mike B.

Great job Badmike!  I look forward to seeing all the posts of awe and amazement.

Now some sobering news.  I wrote Teague back in late May urging him to pay as soon as possible.  He has not even opened my message to him as it still remains in my Outbox.  We can not hold on to his unsold print much longer.  If anyone knows him and has another means of contacting him, feel free to do so.

If he does not reply, or replies that he does not want his print, or can't pay for his print anytime soon, then his print will be offered back up to the Acaeum community.  If I do not hear anything by July 17th, we'll offer it to this community.  If you have interest in this print if it becomes available, please post your interest on this thread.  Priority will be given to people who have not yet purchased a print and currently have over 100 posts on these forums.

And finally, no private messages.  8)
