ExTSR wrote in Interesting Items Currently on eBay:Peter Green wrote in Interesting Items Currently on eBay:Do folks think these prices are justified.Greets Peter.I've been on stage as Auctioneer for over 30 years. The answer is simple. The market sets the prices. They swing up & down. We watch. ;>If you're asking whether you'll ever get 'em cheaper (the usual core question)...possibly. Even probably at those prices, imo; there are swings (see 2009), and prices have restabilized over the last 3 yrs, generally. And it all varies by condition of course. If you wanna invest, do that somewhere else.If you love the hobby and all this kewl stuff, buy what you can afford, and enjoy it while you're the custodian.Good luck!F
Peter Green wrote in Interesting Items Currently on eBay:Hi new guy,I was just going over eBay listings and found three that seemed fascinating, if beyond my resources. There is an orange B3 for 1500$ I think buy now (9$ shipping gotta figure that in.... And a copy of the green B3.) and RPGA 1 & 2. In listings the RPGAs are said to be signed by author. And are now both up to 200+$. Do folks think these prices are justified. I'd love to hav all three, but not sured I'd spend the money if it was available. Peter Green

Peter GreenOrange B3 can sell for up to $3000 in the shrink. The RPGA 1 & 2 fetch up to $500 in minty shape. I think we had something sell for what, $18,000 recently? That magazine or something? My memory is hazy hehe. What's justified? A price is justified as soon as someone pays it, simple supply and demand. Zen

Peter Green wrote in Interesting Items Currently on eBay:Hi,Just found two bohemian ear spoons and three players associatin news on eBay by a seller whose ID is gygax? They're all buy now at 60$. Is that high? I've read about IDE not sure what the price should be. He also has a newsletter 'deck of many thing'. Theses seem cool. No idea of current value. Seems like theyve been listed for a few days so I'm guessing not usually bought at 60$. Also the seller ID is gygax. Anyone know him. Member of the gygax family or is it someone using the name?Peter Green
SimperingToad wrote in Interesting Items Currently on eBay:Wonder if anyone here won this. It looks as if it has an unusual T1 (Aussie maybe?), but I could find no mention here or elsewhere of such a thing, so I bid as though a fake. ** expired/removed eBay auction **
JasonZavoda wrote in Interesting Items Currently on eBay:I wonder if it is a page from a magazine or an advertising sheet. It isn't mentioned as one of the 9 items in the auction description.
Peter Green wrote in Interesting Items Currently on eBay: ** expired/removed eBay auction **Anyone have one of these. Seems neat, but I'm not into war gaming. Seems the noble knight folks sometimes run Er prices a little high, but havea good selection. The many different products TSR had early on is very interesting. I think a couple of months ago there was some for of TSR scifi booklet game on eBay also seemed interesting. Didn't know much about it so could not bid with much confidence. Peter Green
